This Sunday, the 11th of October at 10:30 we will be celebrating our service of Harvest Thanksgiving to which you are all invited. All the classical Harvest hymns will be sung. We are also collecting non-perishable food for the food distribution at La Chiesa di Ognissanti with whom we are twinned as ecumenical partners. If you are shopping this week please pick up

Passata
Tinned tomatoes
Dried Pasta
Dried Rice
Dried beans (or other legumes)
Oil
Tinned fish or meats
Tinned beans or other legumes
Biscuits and cakes (sealed in packaging)
Jam

Bring these with you to church on Sunday. There will be a basket for you to put these in and I'll get them around to Ognissanti on the Friday following.

Unfortunately, for health and hygiene reasons we are not able to accept perishable food.

If you happen to see gourds, squash, pumpkins, colourful apples or harvesty-coloured things in your wanderings you might bring them along to church either on Sunday morning or Saturday morning and we'll add them to our harvest decorations. These won't go to waste either: the apples we eat, the gourds get saved for next year and the squash and pumpkins get turned into soup.
