The Chibagok Cultural Club successfully organized a Cleaning Drive Programme on 29 August 2026 at Chibagok Playground, with the aim of promoting cleanliness, environmental awareness, and active community participation.
The programme was sponsored by the District Administration, North Garo Hills, under the Chief Minister’s Youth Development Scheme.
A total of 53 participants, including youths, club members, village elders, and Sordars, took part in the programme and contributed towards the success of the initiative.
The programme was chaired by Shri Bron Sangma, while Mr. J.K. Marak delivered the welcome address. Shri Lukendro Momin, President of Chibagok, spoke on the importance of cooperation with society, emphasizing the role of collective responsibility in building a stronger and cleaner community.
Mr. Changrik Sangma, President of A·we Pedallars, addressed the gathering on the importance of cleanliness in the village, highlighting the need for proper waste management, responsible disposal of plastic, and maintaining a healthy environment.
The cleaning drive aimed to raise public awareness about cleanliness and plastic pollution while encouraging community members to take collective responsibility for protecting the environment and keeping our surroundings clean.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Shri Clement Marak, President of Chibagok Locality, who expressed sincere gratitude to the District Administration, organizers, participants, and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.

The Chibagok Cultural Club successfully organized a tailoring training programme for women on June 15 to July 17, 2026, at the Chibagok Community Hall, Resubelpara, North Garo Hills. The programme was sponsored by the District Social Welfare Office (DSWO), North Garo Hills, Resubelpara.
The training session was conducted by Ms. Tanora Sangma. The Self-Employed Tailor Training Programme focused on developing practical skills in garment stitching, tailoring techniques, taking measurements, and fabric handling. These skills are intended to enable trainees to pursue self-employment and create sustainable livelihood opportunities in the apparel sector.
A total of 12 women and girls participated in the programme and showed keen interest in learning. The objective of the programme was to empower the participants with practical tailoring skills, helping them become self-reliant and financially independent.
At the end of the training session, refreshments were served, followed by a group photo session.

The Chibagok Cultural Club successfully organized a cake baking and designing training programme for women on May 26, 2026, at the Chibagok Community Hall, Resubelpara, North Garo Hills. The program was sponsored by the District Social Welfare Office (DSWO), North Garo Hills, Resubelpara.

Shri. Clement Ch Marak chaired the event, while Mr. J K Marak delivered the welcome address and presented a bouquet to the invitees. Shri. Brownson Sangma, Vice-President of the Chibagok locality, spoke about learning and self-earning through the training. Mrs. Christina Batse Marak, supervisor (DSWO), gave a speech about supporting women. Miss. Walosa A. Sangma ( Walosa's Bakery) led the training session on cake baking and designing.

A total of 32 women and girls participated in the program and showed a keen interest in learning. The objective of the program was to empower participants with skills to help them become self-reliant. After the session, refreshments were served, followed by a photo session. Mr. Decinde Sangma proposed the vote of thanks.

On May 9, 2026, the Chibagok Cultural Club held a training programme on Local Kalchi manufacturing for women at the Chibagok Community Hall, Resubelpara, North Garo Hills. Sponsored by the District Social Welfare Office, North Garo Hills, the programme aimed to equip participants with skills for self-reliance.

Mr. Decinde N. Sangma, Club President, chaired the event and gave the welcome address. Smti. Kristina G. Momin conducted the training session and discussed the health benefits of Local Kalchi.

Forty-nine (49) women and girls attended and participated actively. The programme concluded with refreshments and a photo session. Mr. J K. Marak delivered the vote of thanks.

Miss Tangrimchi M. Sangma chaired the event, while Mr. Decinde N. Sangma, President of the Chibagok Cultural Club, delivered the welcome address. Smti. Preety K. Sangma (Sangma Beauty Care) led a training session on bridal hairstyle and make-up.

A total of 36 women and girls participated in the program and showed keen interest in learning. The objective of the program was to empower participants with skills to help them become self-reliant.
