" AS LIFE " is a project promoted by a group of artists, with the participation and interest of other important scientific and theater groups : the Association. STED of Modena, Dancewoods, Theater Al Harah (Palestine) , the Company « Un pas puis l'autre» (France ), the association Etre of Milan, the Companhia João Garcia Miguel ( Portugal ) and some departments of psy
chology and women 's health, of the Second University of Naples, Marseille and Birzeit . It is a scientific and cultural project that was born from two needs : talk about medical topics , anthropological and psychological through a language closer to man (as theater and art are) and reconnect a society often disinterested in both artistic and social themes . The theme which we thought was particularly relevant was that of female infertility . Accompanied by a professor at the University of Naples, a group of local artists will be working on this issue to get it right and to create a first stage of work ( March 2014 ) . The goal is to create a text and a show based on scientific data and studies (psychological and anthropological) . The show will be offered in theaters for an audience as vast and varied as possible , and also in structures most related to the field of science and social sciences (conferences , universities , high schools, etc. ) . The texts will be published and accompanied by studies of the universities involved. In our opinion, for our society , it is necessary to be aware of the problems related to infertility in women, its relation to the environment and cultural attitudes . The purpose is to lighten the psychological burden that the woman and her family group often have to endure alone, almost with shame. Doctors , psychologists and anthropologists have collected data and studied specific cases. In order to spread the results in a different way from publications and conferences, the idea was born to interact with the artists and create a spectacle : an artwork that is both a vehicle for social and scientific message . The impact on the area will be secured by the capillarity of health and cultural organizations involved. To ensure cohesion between the different areas , the show will be accompanied by the presence of a health worker : in the theater there will be a discussion at the end of the show. For schools (or non-theatrical places ) preparatory meetings will be organized , managed in collaboration with the actors , in order to explain also the most artistic of the project. The community will be driven by a combination of art and science that aims to inform the company , intrigue the public and create a greater need for knowledge especially in young people. As added value , the project has an international dimension and will be repeated in a similar way in other country . For this reason, we would like to create some Festivals where all shows will be presented as part of the same project in different countries. Our intention is to bring art and theater in sites usually reserved for science. In this way will be able to meet a new part of the community who will be accompanied to the discovery of the performing arts through a subject known to them . In the other hand, people who already appreciates the theater will be involved in scientific socially relevant issues, thus having the opportunity to discuss and reflect on information that often remain limited to insiders . The project aims to involve institutions in a nationwide network : health facilities, schools, universities , theaters, .... The areas in which we can develop are so different , complementary and synergistic with the opportunity to increase their research with the only limit of the resources available from time to time . The presence of the project on the territory should become a highly anticipated event and necessary for the community. In fact, we will be able to deal with newly emerging issues in relation to current events. ITALIANO:
"AS LIFE" è un progetto promosso da un gruppo di artisti, che vede la partecipazione e l’interesse di altre importanti realtà teatrali e scientifiche: dall’ass. STED di Modena, l’ass. Dancewoods, il teatro Al Harah (Palestina), la compagnia Un pas puis l’autre (Francia), l’associazione Etre di Milano, la Companhia João Garcia Miguel (Portogallo) ed alcuni docenti dei dipartimenti di psicologia e women health della Seconda Università di Napoli, di Marsiglia e Birzeit.
È un progetto scientifico-culturale che nasce da due necessità: parlare di argomenti medici, antropologici e psicologici attraverso un linguaggio più vicino all'uomo (quello del teatro e dell’arte) e riavvicinare una società spesso disinteressata a temi sia artistici che sociali. Il tema che ci è sembrato particolarmente di attualità è stato quello dell'infertilità femminile. Accompagnato da una docente dell'Università di Napoli, un gruppo di artisti locali lavorerà su questo tema per farlo proprio e poter creare una prima tappa di lavoro (marzo 2014). L’obiettivo è quello di creare un testo ed uno spettacolo basato su dati scientifici e su studi psicologici e antropologici. Lo spettacolo verrà proposto sia nei teatri per un pubblico il più possibile vario e vasto, sia nelle strutture e nelle occasioni più legate al settore scientifico-sociale (convegni di psicologia e antropologia, università, scuole, ecc). I testi creati verranno pubblicati e saranno accompagnati dagli studi delle Università coinvolte. A nostro avviso, per la nostra società, è necessaria la presa di coscienza delle problematiche legate all’infertilità femminile in relazione al contesto territoriale e agli atteggiamenti culturali. La finalità è un alleggerimento del peso psicologico che la donna e il suo gruppo familiare devono sopportare spesso da soli, quasi con vergogna. Medici, antropologi e psicologi hanno raccolto dati e studiato casi specifici. Per poter diffondere i risultati in modo diverso da pubblicazioni e convegni, è nata l’idea di interagire con degli artisti e creare uno spettacolo: un’opera d'arte che sia allo stesso tempo veicolo di un messaggio scientifico e sociale. L’impatto sul territorio sarà assicurato dalla capillarità delle strutture sanitarie e delle organizzazioni culturali coinvolte. Per garantire la coesione profonda fra i diversi ambiti del progetto, lo spettacolo verrà accompagnato dalla presenza di un operatore sanitario: nelle repliche in teatro è prevista una discussione alla fine dello spettacolo. Per le scuole (o per luoghi non teatrali) saranno organizzati incontri propedeutici, gestiti in collaborazione con gli attori, per poter spiegare anche la parte più artistica del progetto. La collettività verrà guidata da un connubio fra scienza ed arte che mira ad informare la società, incuriosire il pubblico e creare una maggiore necessità di conoscenza soprattutto nei giovani. Come ulteriore valore aggiunto, il progetto ha una dimensione internazionale e sarà replicato con modalità simili in altre realtà europee e non. Per tale motivo si vogliono anche istituire varie rassegne in cui verranno rappresentati tutti gli spettacoli nati nell’ambito dell’iniziativa nei diversi paesi. La nostra intenzione è quella di portare l’arte e il teatro anche in siti di solito riservati alle scienze: in questo modo sarà possibile andare incontro ad una nuova parte della comunità che verrà accompagnata alla scoperta delle arti dello spettacolo attraverso un tema a loro noto. Viceversa, la popolazione che già apprezza il teatro sarà coinvolta in temi scientifici, attuali e socialmente rilevanti, avendo così l’occasione di discutere e riflettere su informazioni che spesso restano limitate agli addetti ai lavori. Il progetto vuole coinvolgere istituzioni presenti in modo capillare sul territorio: strutture sanitarie, scolastiche, universitarie, teatrali, sociali. Gli ambiti in cui si può sviluppare sono quindi vari, sinergici e complementari con la possibilità di incrementare le proprie attività con il solo limite delle risorse volta per volta disponibili. La presenza del progetto sul territorio deve diventare un appuntamento atteso e necessario per la comunità. Infatti, si potranno affrontare di volta in volta nuove tematiche emergenti in relazione ad eventi di attualità. FRANçAIS
AS LIFE est un projet promu par un groupe d'artistes , avec la participation et l'intérêt d’autres groupes théâtrales scientifiques : l'Association . Dancewoods , théâtre Al hara ( Palestine ) , la compagnie Un Pas puis l' Autre (France) , l'association Être de Milan , la Companhia João Garcia Miguel ( Portugal ) et certains professeurs des départements de psychologie et de la santé des femmes, de la Seconde Université Naples, Université de Marseille et University of Birzeit . Il s'agit d'un projet scientifique et culturel qui est né de deux nécessités : parler des sujets médicaux, anthropologiques et psychologiques dans une langue proche de l'homme ( celle du théâtre et de l'art ) et reconnecter une société souvent désintéressé aux deux demaines artistiques et sociales . Le thème qui nous a semblé particulièrement pertinent est celui de l'infertilité féminine . Accompagné par un professeur de l'Université de Naples , un groupe d'artistes locaux travaille sur cette question pour pouvoir créer une première étape de travail ( Mars 2014) . L'objectif est de créer un texte et un spectacle basé sur les données et études scientifiques ( psychologique et anthropologique) . Le spectacle sera offert à la fois dans les salles pour un public aussi vaste et varié que possible et à la fois dans les structures les plus liés au domaine de la science et des sciences sociales (conférences, universités, écoles , etc.) Les textes seront publiés accompagnées par les études des universités concernées .
À notre avis, pour notre société , il est nécessaire une prise de conscience des problèmes liés à l'infertilité en relation au contexte social et aux mœurs culturelles des femmes . Le but est d'alléger le fardeau psychologique que la femme et son groupe familial ont souvent à supporter seul , presque avec honte . Médecins , psychologues et anthropologues ont collecté des données et étudié des cas spécifiques . Afin de diffuser les résultats d'une manière différente et innovante , est née l'idée d'interagir avec les artistes et créer un spectacle : une œuvre d'art qui est à la fois un véhicule pour le message social et scientifique . L'impact sur le territoire sera assurée par la capillarité des établissements de santé et les organismes culturels concernés. Pour assurer la cohésion entre les différents domaines , le spectacle sera accompagné par la présence d' un professionnel de santé : dans les dates dans le théâtre il y aura une discussion à la fin de la pièce . Pour les écoles ( ou des lieux de non- théâtrales ) des réunions préparatoires seront organisées , gérées en collaboration avec les acteurs , afin d'expliquer aussi le coté artistique du projet . La communauté sera guidée par une combinaison d'art et de science qui vise à informer la société , intriguer le public et créer un plus grand besoin de connaissances, en particulier chez les jeunes. Comme valeur ajoutée , le projet a une dimension internationale et sera répété de la même manière dans d'autres pays européens et autre. Pour cette raison, Nous voudrions mettre en place des festivals où tous les spectacles nés dans les différents pays seront présentés. Notre intention est de rapprocher l'art et le théâtre dans les sites habituellement réservés à la science de cette manière nous serons en mesure de rejoindre une nouvelle partie de la communauté qui sera accompagné à la découverte des arts de la scène à travers un sujet qu'ils connaissent . Inversement, les personnes qui apprécient déjà le théâtre seront impliqués dans les questions scientifiques , actuelles et socialement pertinentes , ayant ainsi l'occasion de discuter et de réfléchir sur des informations qui restent souvent limitée à des initiés . Le projet vise à impliquer les institutions dans un réseau national : les établissements de santé , les écoles, les universités , les théâtres . Les domaines dans lesquels le projet peut s’appliquer sont donc différents , complémentaires et synergiques avec la possibilité d'augmenter leur recherche avec la seule limite des ressources disponibles. La présence du projet sur le territoire doit devenir un événement très attendu et nécessaire pour la communauté . En fait, nous serons en mesure de proposer à chaque fois des nouvelles questions émergentes, liés à l’actualité. ENGLISH
