"cinema screens" and relax modes... 🚗💨
Dear millennials, take a good look at this photo. This is the dashboard of a late-'80s Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V.There were no touchscreens to change the wallpaper here, and no apps to connect your smartphone. The seats didn't give you a massage; instead, they sucked you right in the moment your foot hit the floor and the turbo kicked in.This wasn't an arcade; it was a cockpit.Just look at how many analog gauges it took to safely "bite the road":Main tachometer and speedometer featuring the legendary yellow needles.Turbo boost gauge (to know exactly how much punch you had under your foot).Engine oil pressure and temperature gauges (because mechanics had to be respected and monitored to the absolute millisecond).Water temperature gauge and even a battery voltage meter.Zero electronic filters. If you messed up your throttle or braking, there was no computer to save you—just your own reflexes. This was the era of real driving, where you felt the road directly through your hands and your spine. We boomers have a duty to make sure people don't forget where we come from. That is why our passion is about to take a massive leap forward: the launch of a non-profit Social Promotion Association! is officially becoming ScuderiaVR-APS.Our social mission? To teach the younger generations about the history, engineering, and sheer beauty of analog driving. We want to organize meetups, exhibitions, open workshops, and cultural rallies to show young people what it truly meant to "bite the road"... and that’s not all! The luckiest ones will even get to jump on board. If you are a kid, a young adult, or a fellow , you are in the right place.📐🔧
