Day 2 APV | Framing our Journey 👀💡

🎯 We kicked off the morning by exploring the purpose of volunteering and discovering the local organizations with which we are going to do so. We used escape boxes as a powerful pedagogical tool to step into real civic scenarios. This activity helped us shift from simply thinking “I should help” to saying “Now I understand”.

🚶🏽‍♀️Next, we took a Reflective Walk around the venue’s surroundings. Walking in pairs, we discussed the values of a Group Leader, how to handle upcoming challenges, and the actions we can take to make sure the Youth Exchange is a meaningful experience for all our participants.

📋 In the afternoon, it was time to get practical! We reviewed the essential project phases, outlining the goals for our 1st and 2nd Online Preparatory Meetings, follow-up duties, and reimbursement details. Now, our GLs are fully equipped with the concrete tools they need to guide and support their teams back home.

👩‍🎨 We wrapped up the day by unleashing our creativity! We crafted handmade window frames, visualizing our expected journeys and creating a beautiful space to express who we are and what we hope to achieve.

✨ We are ending Day 2 feeling prepared, and full of anticipation and commitment for what’s coming.

Stay tuned for the Youth Exchange! 🚀

Special thanks to ✨

Day 1 APV | Building the Foundations 👀💡

👋🏼 Peak-A-Boo has officially begun! Through connection activities like Borrowing Letters, Human Map, and Running Names we shared stories, learned names, and started building trust within the group.

🎯 After settling back in, we explored the venue and safety rules. Later on, we tackled the project’s objectives through creative role-play, bringing ideas to real-life situations and building our commitment wall. This helped connecting themes with personal experiences.

🌱 After lunch, we explored Non-
Formal Education and the Experiential Learning Cycle, connecting theory with practice and understanding how learning by doing will guide the entire exchange. The schedule of the Youth E and National Workshops were introduced, focusing on themes like decision-making, perception, communication, collaboration, and leadership.

💡The highlight of the day was the Inclusion Session, where teams worked with different physical limitations to build a protective structure for a falling egg. It was a powerful way to reveal group dynamics and understand what true inclusion requires, having a reflection on how this represents participants with fewer opportunities. 🥚🌍

💭 We wrapped up by reflecting on the role of Group Leaders, discussing how to support our participants, hold safe spaces, and empower their learning process without taking away ownership.

✨ We are ending the day feeling connected, inspired, and ready for more.

Stay tuned for Day #2! 🚀

Special thanks to ✨

🌍 SHOW YOUR MIND goes local Part 1 🇷🇴🇸🇪🇵🇱 – and our participants keep the energy going 🙌

🎬 Day 10 | The Final Scene

🧘‍♀️ We began the final day with a guided meditation led by Lori from Romania. Originally prepared for her MINDSY action, the activity found its moment here. For a few quiet minutes, participants paused to observe their breath and body, starting the day with calm and reflection.

💌 During “Letter to my Future Self”, participants wrote digital letters to themselves about how this experience shaped them and what they hope to carry forward. Many of them set small personal goals inspired by the project. In six months, these messages will return as a reminder of their intentions.

🎥 The MINDSY evaluation followed. Participants reflected on the whole process, from preparation and community actions to the Film Festival. The dominant feeling in the group was pride in what they had created together, and the team responsible for editing and translating the films received a warm round of applause.

🌍 During dissemination planning, participants discussed how to bring the spirit of the project back to their communities. Many shared their motivation to volunteer or start initiatives at home, and each national group created a concrete dissemination plan.

📜 Next came YouthPass, where participants reflected on their learning journey and connected their experiences to the 8-key competences of the Erasmus+ Framework.

💌 In the Message Closure, participants anonymously wrote what they were grateful for and what they would take home from the experience. The messages were read aloud in a circle, filling the room with appreciation and emotion.

🤝 Finally, reflection groups closed their journey together, celebrating the connections built throughout the exchange.

✨And with that, the story of Show Your Mind reached its final scene, but the connections, ideas, and inspiration will continue far beyond Taranto.

Special thanks to ✨
