🟢Citizen Participation in Biodiversity Governance 🌱

On January 27–28, our project partners met in Pokljuka, Slovenia 🇸🇮 to discuss the project status and upcoming activities.

The experience was further enriched by a 2-hour hiking session in the snow, offering us the opportunity to connect with nature and fully immerse ourselves in the mountain environment. ❄️🥾

🟢Children in Italy care for biodiversity!

The loss of is a global issue that requires immediate action and the active collaboration of organizations and citizens.

In view of this, and as part of the project, on 11 November the Province of Potenza launched a series of educational workshops for primary school children, aimed at involving them in the process of .

The workshops include:

1️⃣A multisensory journey led by Simona Lapolla to help children understand the natural and environmental heritage of the Province of Potenza.
Participants can also explore the protected areas through the Virtual Reality IT Platform, an innovative digital project aimed at improving the accessibility of public services, with a particular focus on environmental awareness and enhancement.

2️⃣An educational experience on spontaneous flora, presented through a beautiful and innovative floral exhibition by Michele Somma.

3️⃣An educational activity on sedentary and migratory wildlife, conducted by the ETS Scuola della Montagna Association.

🟢These workshops will continue until 15 June 2026, reaching as many children as possible thanks to the collaboration of local schools.
