💥Abbiamo presentato i risultati del nostro 🦪LIFE MUSCLES: 4 anni di lavoro che ci hanno permesso di definire un modello che risponde alle istanze ambientali e di economia circolare e offre un’opportunità concreta agli allevatori, alle imprese del riciclo e alla filiera agro-marina di innovarsi in modo competitivo, responsabile e sostenibile.
♻️ L’impianto mobile di riciclo che ha già trasformato in nuove reti quasi 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ tonnellate di plastiche usate per l’allevamento delle cozze.
🌊I mitilicoltori le rimettono in mare e risparmiano fino al 30% sulle spese di acquisto.
Prodotte più di 2️⃣6️⃣ tonnellate di calze in biopolimero biodegradabile e compostabile che riducono l’impatto sull’ambiente marino, perché a fine vita il materiale può rientrare nei cicli naturali grazie al compostaggio.

We presented the results of our 🦪LIFE MUSCLES project: four years of work that have enabled us to define a model that responds to environmental and circular economy issues and offers a concrete opportunity for mussel farmers, recycling companies, and the agro-marine supply chain to innovate in a competitive, responsible, and sustainable way.
♻️ The mobile recycling plant that has already transformed almost 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ tons of plastic used for mussel farming into new nets.
🌊Mussel farmers put them back into the sea and save up to 30% on purchase costs.
More than 2️⃣6️⃣ tons of biodegradable and compostable biopolymer socks have been produced, reducing the impact on the marine environment because, at the end of their life, the material can return to natural cycles through composting.
💚 Thanks to the speakers, project partners, the working team, and the EU Commission, which, through the , makes it possible and concrete to increase strategic policies for ecological transition.
