Youth exchange about fermentation in Hungary - CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS!

We’re excited to share that TULELA is a partner in the Erasmus+ youth exchange “We Are Alive!” dedicated to exploring the world of fermentation as a tool for sustainability, community building, and reconnecting with living food.

We are currently looking for participants from Italy who would like to join this learning experience.

During the training we will:
🍶 explore traditional and modern fermentation practices
🌿 reflect on food, ecology, and cultural heritage
🤝 exchange knowledge and experiences with an international group
🔥 learn by doing through workshops and collective activities

If you’re curious about fermentation, community, and regenerative food cultures, this project is for you!

📍 Where? Etyek, Hungary
📅 When? 21 May - 1 June
👥 Who can apply? People aged 18–30 (or 30+ if you apply as group leader) from Hungary, Italy, and France

Last summer, we partnered with Prostor ob gozdu on the youth exchange 'Dare to be: Creating a transformative culture', held in the beautiful Slovenian countryside. Participants explored various topics, such as eco-based psychology, permaculture, community movement, and movement and voice improvisation.

At the end of the project, participants shared a few things to give you a taste of what they did.

🍄 MYCELIUM & MUSH MORE – Youth Exchange Erasmus+ 🌱

💼 Are you a young person interested in nature, sustainability, fungi and community living?
🌍 Would you like to learn practical skills while living and learning in an international group?

TULELA – Tra Una Luna E L’Altra is happy to announce Mycelium & Mush More, an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on fungi, mycelium and sustainable food systems.

📅 Dates: 12th – 21st May 2026
📍 Where: Borselli, Pelago (Florence), Italy
👥 Who: 30 participants from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary and France
👤 Participants: 5 participants + 1 team leader per country

🍄 What will you do?

Learn basic mushroom cultivation techniques (straw, logs, mycelium)

Explore the ecological role of fungi and mycelium

Take part in hands-on workshops and outdoor activities

Work in international groups to create project outputs and share knowledge

Experience non-formal education, intercultural exchange and community living

🌱 All costs for food, accommodation and activities are covered by Erasmus+
✈️ Travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules

What happens when young leaders come together to get over burnout? ✨

Last update from our Erasmus+ Training Course "Tool Up"! ✌

Towards the end of the week, the group got together to support four dreams to visualize them using the Dragon Dreaming methodology and help them taking shape so that they can finally materialize and change the world! 🌍

Through a space where vulnerabilities became strengths, the group got to experience Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Sociocracy, Group Dynamics, Power & Rank, and Dragon Dreaming. 💭

It was an emotional ride, full of emotions, development and celebration. In the end the participants will go back home full of new ways to navigate the complex world we live in, with more healthy ways, while being able to keep an attentive eye when the symptoms of Burnout start to come and hopefully being able to finally change the world to overcome it. 👣

Cosa succede quando giovani leader si uniscono per superare il burnout? ✨

Ultimo aggiornamento dal nostro Corso di Formazione Erasmus+ "Tool Up" ✌

Verso la fine della settimana, il gruppo si è riunito per sostenere quattro sogni, visualizzandoli con la metodologia Dragon Dreaming e aiutandoli a prendere forma, così che possano finalmente concretizzarsi e cambiare il mondo! 🌍

Attraverso uno spazio in cui le vulnerabilità sono diventate punti di forza, il gruppo ha potuto esplorare la Comunicazione Nonviolenta (NVC), la Sociocrazia, le Dinamiche di Gruppo, il Potere & il Rango, e il Dragon Dreaming. 💭

È stato un viaggio intenso, pieno di emozioni, crescita e celebrazione. Alla fine, i partecipanti torneranno a casa con nuovi strumenti per orientarsi nel mondo complesso in cui viviamo, in modo più sano, riuscendo a riconoscere i segnali del burnout e – si spera – a cambiare il mondo per superarlo davvero.👣

Update for our ongoing E+ training course TOOL UP 🪄📨

🫂 Over the past few days, we've come together as a community, forming groups to share responsibilities and support each other.

🏡 We've created an organic, self-sufficient space where everyone feels comfortable to grow and learn.

🩵 With the guidance of Genny and Giacomo, we're exploring Nonviolent Communication, Sociocracy, and facilitation—gaining the tools to build healthier, more connected communities.

Aggiornamento sul nostro corso di formazione E+ TOOL UP🪄📨

🫂 Negli ultimi giorni, abbiamo lavorato come una vera e propria comunità, formando gruppi per condividere responsabilità e sostenerci a vicenda.

🏡 Abbiamo creato uno spazio organico e autosufficiente, dove ognuno si sta sentendo a proprio agio nel crescere e imparare.

🩵 Con la guida di Genny e Giacomo, stiamo esplorando la Comunicazione Nonviolenta, la Sociocrazia e la facilitazione—acquisendo strumenti per costruire comunità più sane e connesse.

On Sunday, we began our training course "TOOL UP: Preventing burnout in young leaders of no-profit organisations".

🌍 As the hosting association, TULELA invited 24 youth workers from partner associations in 8 countries to improve their personal and professional skills in dealing with burnout.

🌳 The venue, Rifugio Casa al Giogo, has become our home for 10 days and our experiential lab surrounded by peace and nature.

✨ We will learn and share good practices for a productive, creative, and, most importantly, healthy working environment with the guidance of two amazing trainers, Genny Carraro and Giacomo Zoffoli.

Domenica abbiamo iniziato il nostro corso di formazione "TOOL UP: Prevenire il burnout nei giovani leader delle organizzazioni non profit".

🌍 Come associazione ospitante, TULELA ha invitato 24 operatori giovanili provenienti da associazioni partner in 8 paesi per migliorare le proprie competenze personali e professionali nell'affrontare il burnout.

🌳 La sede, Rifugio Casa al Giogo, è diventata la nostra casa per 10 giorni e il nostro laboratorio esperienziale circondato da pace e natura.

✨ Impareremo e condivideremo buone pratiche per un ambiente di lavoro produttivo, creativo e, soprattutto, sano con la guida di due fantastici formatori, Genny Carraro e Giacomo Zoffoli.
