Horizon Lab official page HorizonLab nasce dall’esigenza di un gruppo di amici di avere un luogo e degli strumenti per dare luce ad un’idea.

Tutti dovremmo essere in grado di far nascere, crescere e realizzare qualsiasi cosa e HorizonLab punta proprio a questo! Vogliamo ti**re sù un luogo di incontro per scambiare idee ed esperienze, un luogo dove trovare gli strumenti adatti per realizzare dei prototipi e per la promozione di essi. fogo alla fantasia, qualcosa di simile ad una stanza dove sedersi a testa in giù, dove giocare a scacchi o disegnare al PC stando stesi per terra. Niente più e niente meno che avere un posto dove essere se stessi ed esprimere la propria immaginazione. HorizonLab punta a tutto questo! Spesso ciò che mancano sono gli stimoli giusti o gli strumenti adeguati, noi vogliamo mettere in campo tutte le sinergie necessarie per abbattere barriere comuni che impediscono il processo innovativo. HorizonLab was created by a group of friends needing a place and tools to give birth to an idea. We should all be able to create, develop and achieve anything we want and that’s what HorizonLab is here for. We want to build up a meeting place to exchange ideas and experiences, where the right tools can be found to create prototypes and to promote them. A place that is a source of ideas, an hack farm. Our goal is to create a challenging environment that gives vent to the imagination, something like a room where you can sit upside down, play chess or draw on your laptop while you’re laying down. This is what HorizonLab is all about! Too often what we lack are right incentives and proper tools. We want to put in place all the necessary synergies to remove the shared barriers that hinder the innovative process. Let’s Keep it Simple!

🤝 Countless virtual meetings, collaborative projects, local events, and transnational meetings in Bucharest, Stockholm, and Naples have shaped this unforgettable experience. We'll forever cherish the whirlwind of emotions during the bootcamp hosted in Naples and the enduring friendships that blossomed.

Ci è servita una settimana per maturare idee ed emozioni, prima di ti**re le somme sul bootcamp da poco concluso.
Il bootcamp di Internet of Tricks è stata l'occasione per lavorare con ragazzi provenienti da diversi paesi sui deliverables del progetto. E nessuno si sarebbe aspettato che tutto fosse così bello. Il coinvolgimento nelle attività, l'integrazione sociale, gli stimoli e i contributi al progetto, e poi l'affiatamento di un gruppo che chiamare eterogeneo sarebbe un eufemismo... tutto ci ha stupito.
Abbiamo lavorato tantissimo, abbiamo dormito poco, abbiamo corso tanto, ma guardando ai sorrisi dei ragazzi, possiamo dire che ne è valsa la pena!

The Bootcamp has officially started! This is a great opportunity for young people from Sweden, Italy, Romania, France and Spain to explore the world of connected objects.

What are they? How do they work? What are the risks and benefits of using them? These are some of the questions that we will try to answer together in this amazing journey.

We'll see how these objects range from ordinary household items to sophisticated tools. IoT is one of the most important technologies of the 21st century, as it can improve our quality of life, provide new insights and solutions, and create new business opportunities. During the Bootcamp, all the participants have the chance to learn more about and its applications in different fields and to discover how to use IoT to create value and solve real-world problems.
Let's start this adventure!

The third and final transnational meeting of the project is just over. The meeting took place in Naples and was hosted by Horizon Lab. We spent two days of coordination work on all the activities of the consortium within this project. We reviewed the status of our project and what we have to do to complete it successfully!! After the meeting, we had a chance to enjoy a delicious pizza together, of course. Stay tuned for more updates... now we are moving on the Bootcamp!

Dal 2 all'8 settembre 2023 HorizonLab organizzerà un bootcamp internazionale, aperto a ragazzi fino a 29 anni. Verranno esplorati rischi e vantaggi degli oggetti connessi. Si manipoleranno dispositivi elettronici, si incontreranno specialisti del settore IoT e si imparerà a programmare secondo la filosofia maker. Il bootcamp si terrà a Pompei ed ogni spesa sarà a carico degli organizzatori (fatta eccezione per le spese di trasporto). Ci sono 4 posti disponibili e per candidarsi è necessario compilare il seguente form ed aspettare di essere ricontattati.
