The "ECLIRE - The Ethics of Climate Change: Reshaping Responsibilities for Present and Future Generations" Seasonal School that I attended in February 2026 was a truly enriching experience for me, both academically and personally. Through the combination of lectures, workshops, and discussions, which successfully bridged theory and practice, I had the opportunity to critically engage with some of the most pressing challenges posed by the climate crisis.
One of the aspects I appreciated most was the programme’s multidisciplinary approach, which was reflected in the diverse backgrounds of the participants. Exchanging ideas with people from different disciplines and experiences allowed me to look at shared challenges from new perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of their complexity.
What made the experience even more memorable was the welcoming and stimulating environment of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, where we truly felt part of a vibrant community of students, PhD candidates, researchers, and faculty members. I leave this experience with not only new knowledge, but also a deep appreciation for the value of dialogue, collaboration, and the meaningful connections built throughout the week.
I am deeply grateful to Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and Fondazione Il Talento all’Opera for making this unique experience possible and for their commitment to supporting educational opportunities that foster academic growth and genuine exchange of ideas.
