🌍 International Summer School in Earth Observation

The Fondazione International Research School of Planetary Sciences, in collaboration with Leonardo, is pleased to announce the first edition of the International Summer School in Earth Observation!
This one-week intensive training programme is designed for students, early-career researchers, young professionals and scientists interested in Earth Observation, satellite data, remote sensing and space-based applications for monitoring our planet.
During the Summer School, participants will take part in lectures, hands-on activities and dedicated training sessions focused on:
🛰️ EO missions, sensors and satellite data
💻 EO software tools and data processing
🌱 Precision farming and environmental monitoring
📡 SAR, InSAR, DInSAR and advanced interferometry
🌋 Ground motion, disaster management, volcanology and earthquakes
🏛️ EO applications for cultural heritage
🤝 EO services and the Abruzzo Aerospace District
The activities will take place daily from 09:00 to 17:00 in a unique venue: the Fucino Space Centre, one of the most important space centres in Europe.
👥 Limited places: maximum 28 participants
