We are delighted to introduce Professor Dr. Haicong Ni as part of our Music Fest Perugia 2026 faculty!

Dr. Ni is a celebrated Chinese concert pianist and an Associate Professor of Piano at the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. Known for his brilliant virtuosity and deep musicality, his playing has earned high praise from legends like Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Ralph Votapek and Leeds Gold Medalist Jon Kimura Parker, who described his performances as "interactive, warm, and colorful."
An award-winning performer, published scholar, and dedicated mentor, Dr. Ni holds a DMA from Michigan State University. His students regularly win international competitions and attend world-class conservatories. We are thrilled to have his elite expertise in Perugia this summer!

Behind the scenes, our founders, Artistic Director Ilana Vered and Executive Director Dr. Peter Hermes, are working alongside an incredible roster of world-class faculty, conductors, and international maestros to prepare for our most inspiring season yet. Most importantly, the true face of MFP is the community of talented young classical musicians from all corners of the globe who will soon bring the historic streets of Perugia to life with their music.

Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari and a top prize-winner at the world’s most prestigious competitions (Cleveland, San Antonio, Tel Aviv, Busoni). He regularly performs across the globe with premier ensembles like the Cleveland Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic.
