Next week, our Founder David will take on The Wall ultramarathon — running 110km in under 12 hours — to help raise £10,000 for a school build on the Thai–Myanmar border. 💛

Over the last 15 years, we have supported over 25,000 children across 80+ projects worldwide, but there is still so much to do. Every new school creates long-term access to education for entire communities.

A new school term has begun and Love Learning Center is now open.

From foundations to finished classrooms, this learning centre on the Thai/Myanmar border came together in just a few weeks — built with purpose, community support and the belief that education changes lives.

Watching this transformation happen so quickly has been incredible, but this is only the beginning.

More schools.
More communities.
More opportunity.

We wish all the students, teachers and headteacher Thal Thal all the very best for this year.

The second week of the Design & Build Workshop in Genova, Italy saw the project move from the workshop space into the public realm. Led by Elettra Melani alongside Maddalena Ferraresi from ANAB architettura naturale the workshop participants assembled the structure in Piazza Sarzano as part of Genova Design Week.

Working collaboratively with Semplicemente an Italian organisation formed by people with disabilities who promote inclusion.

Volunteers continued the hands-on construction process, building earth walls, refining details and bringing the full-scale prototype to life.

The workshop has provided an opportunity to explore sustainable construction techniques using natural materials, while demonstrating how design and making can create meaningful opportunities for inclusion, learning and participation.

Seeing the structure take shape in the heart of the city has been a powerful reminder that architecture is not only about buildings, but about people, collaboration and creating spaces where everyone can contribute.

Thank you to all the workshop participants, partners and supporters who have helped make this project possible.

The school gates are open, the classrooms are ready and a new academic year has begun at New Road on the Thai–Myanmar border.

Education remains one of the most effective tools for creating lasting change, equipping young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to shape their futures.

We are delighted to see students back to school at New Road Learning Center and we look forward to seeing all they will achieve in the months ahead.

A new academic year has begun at one of the schools we support on the Thai–Myanmar border at Sauch Kha Hong Sar

It is so wonderful to see classrooms full again and students returning eager to learn, grow and build brighter futures.

Access to education remains one of the most powerful ways to create opportunity and resilience in communities facing significant challenges.

We would like to wish all the students, teachers, and their families a successful and rewarding year ahead.

Fantastic to see the first week of the Design & Build Workshop taking shape in Genoa.

Through both theoretical and hands-on sessions, participants are exploring natural construction materials including bamboo, wood and earth, while collectively building a full-scale architectural prototype.

Led by Elettra Melani alongside Maddalena Ferraresi from ANAB architettura naturale in collaboration with Semplicemente the workshop focuses on developing a sustainable and accessible housing prototype.

Experimenting with reciprocal roof structures and lightweight earth walls, volunteers are learning by hands-on experience.

Our friend and volunteer Steve Grace recently spent time with us in Mae Sot and wrote a beautiful reflection on the work we are doing in this region delivering educational projects to communities who really need them.

Built in just a few weeks, this learning centre came together through community, teamwork and a shared belief in education.
