WSRF World Swimrun federation - SINCE 2015 in Switzerland

WSRF ha the purpose to regulate, organize, promote and divulge swimrun sport around the world.

For swimrun is intended a multidisciplinary sporting activity that involves the practice of outdoor running alternating with free style water swimming involving many transitions between the racing and swimming phases without a change zone for athletes, who must then swim with their running shoes on their feet. WSRF purpose it will be activated for:

A. Provide a basic plan for a national swimrun f

ederation from each nation to join WSRF;

B. To promote and develop swimrun sport in the world in accordance with the principles set out by the Olympic Charter and in protection of physical and mental health of athletes, fighting doping in all its forms;

C. To issue rules for international competitions;

D. Organizing individual and team world championships, as well as other continental and world tournaments, depending on what the club is to decide;
