ion offers an efficient support to students, young graduated, professionals, educators and teachers, along with associations, enterprises, schools and public administrations that would like to develop innovative ideas and to better know the grant opportunities. A number of external collaborations, thanks to their creative and professional contribution, complete the services offered by the cooperative.

We came back from Wrocław a couple of weeks ago and the experience is still very present in our minds.
Fundacja Autokreacja hosted us for two intense days of the CityVoices project (funded under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values- CERV-2025-CITIZENS-CIV-project number: 101253296).
The programme supports civic engagement, democratic participation, and strengthening European values.

Bond of Union is a partner together with:

- EduShakers (Belgium)
- Bratislava PI (Slovakia)
- USB (Greece)

In this vibrant, multicultural city - rebuilt with care and full of creative energy - we explored participation, community and the future of urban life.

Our first day combined a lecture on Garden Cities, the presentation of the “Citizens City Maps” concept and a hands‑on workshop that helped us explore the city and map needs, visions and urban narratives. The afternoon focused on the Community Needs Assessment, turning ideas into shared insights.

The second day brought an inspiring meeting with the Youth City Council of Wrocław, listening to young people’s perspectives on their city and its future.

See you again in June, in Bratislava - ready to hear the voice of the next city!

Il primo giorno di attività di Spazio al Capo è stato davvero entusiasmante!

Rivedere le bambine e i bambini del quartiere, cresciuti e sempre pieni di energia, ci ha emozionate e ricordato quanto le attività che proponiamo siano importanti per loro e per la comunità.
Abbiamo iniziato costruendo insieme le regole del nuovo spazio, partendo da ciò che per loro significa stare bene, sentirsi accolti e rispettati.
Dopo Abbiamo raccolto i desideri e le idee che guideranno le attività dei prossimi mesi: sogni semplici, concreti, pieni di immaginazione e voglia di partecipare.

Un avvio che ci riempie di fiducia: è bello ricominciare insieme, con cura, ascolto e tanta energia condivisa.

Ci vediamo ogni Lunedì, dalle 16:30 alle 18:30 nel NUOVO spazio sito in Via dello Spirito Santo n.35, ex Convento dello Spirito Santo (nei pressi del Santuario di Santa Rita).

Il progetto "Spazio Educativo Capo" è finanziato da Otto per Mille Valdese e sostenuto dall'Ufficio Politiche Giovanili e Igiene Pubblica del Comune di Palermo.

Il 21 e 22 marzo siamo state a Roma per il #3 incontro nazionale del Movimento per il Diritto alla città Pedagogico. Quest'anno le parole chiave che ci hanno guidate sono state ASSEMBLEA, PEDAGOGIA e SCUOLA.

"L’Assemblea per noi è la pratica di democrazia radicale, capace di far vivere la terra di mezzo tra scuola e territorio, dove oggi abita il concetto ormai un po’ svuotato di "comunità educante”.
Vogliamo risemantizzare quel concetto, facendolo riemergere dalla vuota etichetta burocratica per divenire finalmente tema educativo che responsabilizzi famiglie, studenti e lavoratori (educatori e insegnanti).” Crepa - Collettivo di ricerca e pratiche pedagogiche

Sabato 21 marzo, da Matemù e Scuola Popolare SpinTime+, ci siamo chieste: è possibile unire didattica scolastica e pedagogia sociale per un obiettivo politico? Si può pensare di superare la logica dell'emergenza per costruire un'architettura del mondo fondata sulla democrazia radicale?

Domenica 22 marzo, invece, i nostri corpi ci hanno portate in piazza e per le strade di Ciampino dove è nato un confronto spontaneo con la sindaca sulle le lotte che animano il diritto alla città pedagogico.

E’ stata un’occasione speciale per rivederci e approfondire visioni e obiettivi del Movimento.

In URBEX FOR YOUTH walking, photographing and mapping aren’t just ways to explore the city - they are tools to develop awareness and critical thinking.
Young people learn to read their surroundings, recognise the effects of gentrification and overtourism, and imagine new ways of using public spaces.

Using the city as an educational space means turning everyday experiences into opportunities to learn: observing how neighbourhoods change, understanding what makes a place welcoming or exclusionary, and recognising the social dynamics that shape urban life.

The city becomes a living laboratory where ideas can be tested and small actions of local activism can take shape, together with schools, associations and educational communities.
When young people learn to interpret the city, they also begin to transform it.

Buona Domenica!
Ricominciano da domani i laboratori per bambine e bambini dai 6 ai 12 anni; quest'anno saremo presso un nuovo spazio l'Ex Convento dello Spirito Santo, in via dello Spirito Santo n. 35 (nei pressi del Santuario di Santa Rita).

Dalle 16:30 alle 18:30 scopriremo insieme le nuove attività educative e inaugureremo insieme la nostra stanza con la tradizionale merenda!

quartiere Capo di Palermo ed in particolare all'attivazione di uno spazio educativo gratuito per le famiglie ed i minori del quartiere che non hanno altre opportunità educative oltre la scuola.

Why NeCoWo?
Because we believe that communities don’t happen by chance — they are built.

They emerge when different people meet, share their stories, explore new languages and discover the transformative power of differences that become a safe and creative space.

With NeCoWo, we want to activate both a mental and physical space where neighbors can imagine new ways of being together, where their ideas come to life. It’s a laboratory of possibilities — an invitation to participate, experiment and co‑create a new community world.

We will make all of this concrete through small‑group activities, creative tasks and shared experiences that help us test ideas, blend perspectives, and build something together.

During January 14th and 15th 2026, we were in Berlin hosted by CitizensLab (thank you so much Alice Priori!) for the kick-off TPM of Urbex4Youth.

Two intense days to strengthen our team, finally meet in person and shape the next steps of the project. We aligned our vision, shared methods, and exchanged good practices on how to engage young people through activities that help them reclaim and re‑energize urban spaces, using participatory processes both formal and informal.
We refined roles, timelines and imagined how the project will unfold across different cities. Inspiring conversations, new ideas, and a lot of energy.

This is just the beginning. Urbex4Youth is officially on the move — stay tuned!!!

Dopo la nascita della Comunità Educante del Capo e del Patto di Comunità, siamo pronti a ripartire con Spazio Educativo Capo (cod. prog. OPM/2025/52246), progetto sostenuto dalla Chiesa Valdese grazie ai fondi dell’ Otto per Mille.
Anche quest'anno lavoreremo in partnership con due attori educativi del quartiere: il Teatro alla Guilla e Centro Amazzone.

Continueremo le attività laboratoriali pomeridiane con le bambine e i bambini del quartiere e, contestualmente, apriremo uno spazio- mentale e fisico- dedicato alle mamme. Un luogo accogliente, dove sentirsi libere di esprimersi, ritrovarsi e ricevere supporto.

Le attività stanno per iniziare. Restate connessə: Spazio Educativo Capo sta tornando, più vivo che mai!
