CONSECRATION OF A CHILD
TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY.

Holy Mary, beloved Mother of Jesus,
Of the Church and of all the faithful,
I place my child under your motherly protection.

To you I consecrate my child, body and soul.
Take him under your care and keep him always.
Protect him in his early years,
Guard him in his youth,
Guide him in his life calling,
Keeping his heart pure in his words, actions and thoughts.
May his mind be focused on holiness,
Always longing for the things of God.

Protect him throughout his life,
In his joys and sorrows,
In his successes and failures,
And in his dealings with others.

Mary, most holy, always and in all things
Preserve him as a loving Mother.
I commend my son entirely to you.
Remember Mother Mary,
That through this Act of Consecration
He becomes in a special way your child as well as mine;

🐾 We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Vet Erin O'Leary for her incredible kindness! Last night, on Day 93 - 1/26/2026, she visited our Aloka to provide a specialized laser treatment to help him with his recovery.

It is such a blessing to meet professionals like Erin who go out of their way to care for Aloka as he continues the Walk for Peace alongside the venerable monks. This treatment will go a long way in helping him feel his best as we move forward. Thank you so much for your generosity and for keeping our companion strong!
