A traditional folk song
a dance between sound and a mountain,
whose echo becomes music and color.
Wounded in July, never broken.
Freedom is lived, not bestowed.
For life.
For love.

السويداء ما زالت صامدة، ما زالت تبتكر، وما زالت مدنيّة.
السويداء ثابتة، تصنع وتحمي معنى الحضارة.
تحت الهجوم، لكنها متجذّرة في الفن، في الحياة، وفي الحرية.

محبوب قلبك
أغنية فولكلورية.
رقصة بين الصوت
وجبلٍ
يتحوّل صداه
إلى موسيقى ولحن ولون.

السويداء،
المجروحة في تموز دون أن تنكسر،
تفتح أثر الجرح للضوء
وتكمل طريقها.

لا تنتظر موافقة العالم،
ولا تراهن على الصمت.
كلّ يوم تحمل حريتها
في لحن،
وفي يدٍ تصنع الجمال،
وفي خطوة صغيرة وثابتة
نحو الحياة.

الحرية تُعاش، لا تُمنَح.
كلّ يوم.

حرية وجمال.

من أجل الحياة.
ومن أجل الحب.

Echoes of Swaida

Pain is a harsh country, that no one chooses to go through;
it wraps us like a heavy shadow, it devours us in the depths,
until the suffocation of hope blows.

This is Swaida: she continues to pulse, despite the bleeding wounds
and the departure of innocent souls ripped by traitors and blind hands.
Yet, from the ashes, we rise to hope, like a green branch that insists
on sprouting from a hard rock.

The light of art is not extinguished:
it resists fracture, it opens a path to salvation.
From this principle, the principle of obstinacy to life and trust in love,
the project “Echoes of Swaida: Love and Life” was born.

Artists from Swaida, scattered in every corner of the world,
have decided to devote an entire day to art
“music, painting, singing and sculpture” all together at the same time,
so their voices rise like a free shout that knocks on the doors of heaven.

A powerful cry that says to the whole world:
we are all human beings, we are born free, we were created to live,
and we are filled with love for the land to which we belong,
that land rooted in the hearts of our ancient roots.

On September 27, 2025, we witnessed the energy that passed through the air particles
the energy of the artists of Swaida.
We saw how pain transformed into beauty,
and suffering into hope.
