E4Impact Foundation

E4Impact Foundation At E4Impact Foundation we develop a new generation of impact entrepreneurs in Africa. The first MBA started in Kenya in 2010.

E4Impact is a social change organization that supports the start-up and growth of new businesses in Africa. It was launched in 2010 as initiative of ALTIS – Graduate School of Business and Society of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In 2015 it became a Foundation with the support of Associazione Genesi, Mapei, Webuild, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Always Africa Association. La

ter, Eni, Intesa Sanpaolo, VueTel, Carvico, Montello and Confapi joined E4Impact as Corporate Participants and Diana Bracco, Michele Carpinelli and Jean-Sébastien Deacaux as Individual Participants. The work of the Foundation contributes to the accomplishment of many of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Goals. E4Impact portfolio of activities entails:

- Entrepreneurship programs (Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and International Certificate in Impact Entrepreneurship)
- Accelerators for new businesses
- Services for expansion of European SMEs
- Multilateral Projects
The Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and the International Certificate in Impact entrepreneurship are entrepreneurship programs offered in collaboration with Università Cattolica and a local university from the host country. These programs guide active and aspiring entrepreneurs to start or scale their businesses, providing them simultaneously with an academic and business acceleration experience. Since then, E4Impact has expanded to Ghana, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Ethiopia, Sudan, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Cameroun, Moçambique, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mali, Tchad and Tunisia. While, in South Africa, E4Impact has launched the International Certificate in Impact Entrepreneurship, after a first experience of this programme in Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Business Accelerators provide new businesses with training, links with local investors, connections with international companies, seed funding, ICT and satellite communication services and office space. The Foundation also supports the expansion of European SMEs in Africa. By matching them with reliable local entrepreneurs, E4Impact offers small businesses a low cost, low-risk opportunity to enter the African countries where the MBA is offered. Finally, E4Impact takes part in multilateral projects, working with international partners to design and implement customized training and consulting programs for different actors.

🌍 June 5 – World Environment Day 2026

Every year, this day reminds us of something simple: the health of our planet and the growth of our communities are deeply connected. At E4Impact, we believe that lasting environmental change is built from within, through African entrepreneurs who understand their ecosystems, respond to local needs, and create solutions that are both sustainable and meaningful.

Our programs walk alongside businesses that are driving real impact across key sectors:
🌾 Agribusiness and sustainable food systems,
⚡ Clean energy access for homes and communities,
🏡 Eco-friendly housing and construction solutions,
🌡️ And climate-resilience strategies for a changing world.

Meet the who are proving that sustainability and growth are not opposites — they are the same thing.
