È da questa idea che tutto è iniziato e noi non vogliamo dimenticare lo spirito dell’inizio. Non vogliamo scordare la voglia di ascoltare che ci ha caratterizzato fin da subito come avventura umana quasi più che musicale ed è con rinnovato entusiasmo che diamo il via alla seconda edizione del nostro concorso dedicato ai pianisti non professionisti con più di 40 anni. Siamo alla seconda edizione e dopo il successo dell’anno scorso e le tante richieste di replica, abbiamo deciso di far ripartire l’avventura. Dall’appassionato spunto del nostro presidente Maria Grazia Rossi Vimercati, ha preso vita un incredibile e quasi inaspettato fiume di parole, suoni, emozioni, desiderio di confronto e voglia soprattutto di suonare, oltre ogni limite, pregiudizio e paura. La forza di una passione vera, quella per il pianoforte, ci ha stimolato oltre ogni aspettativa e ci ha permesso di incontrare dei meravigliosi talenti nascosti. Grazie a tutti loro abbiamo potuto organizzare un evento con un livello artistico di alto livello, ma anche accogliere pianisti appassionati che si sono sfidati e hanno colto con grande intelligenza ed umorismo la preziosa occasione di esibirsi in pubblico. Non dimentichiamo mai la nostra matrice “conviviale” e allo stesso tempo sappiamo oramai con certezza che non professionista non significa “dilettante” nel senso sminuente del termine, ma piuttosto “amateur”: qualcuno che ama, che ama totalmente senza limiti. Vi aspettiamo numerosi anche quest’anno, certi che anche per voi sarà un’avventura musicale e umana con tante aspettative. It is from this idea that all started, and we do not want to forget the spirit of the beginning. We do not want to forget the desire to listen that has characterized immediately as human adventure, almost more than music adventure. It is with renewed enthusiasm that we start the second edition of our competition for amateur pianists over 40. We are in the second edition, and after last year's success and the many replication requests, we decided to kick-start the adventure. From the passionate inspiration of our president Maria Grazia Rossi Vimercati, it took an amazing life and almost unexpected flood of words. Sounds, emotions, desire for confrontation. Especially we want to play, beyond all limits, prejudice, and fear. The strength of a true passion, one for the piano, encouraged us beyond all expectations and allowed us to meet some wonderful hidden talents. Thanks to them, we were able to organize an event with a high level of artistry, but also accommodate pianists enthusiasts. They challenged and have seized with great intelligence and humor the valuable opportunity to perform in public. We never forget our "convivial" attitude and at the same time, we know now, for certain, that non-professional does not mean "amateur" in the sense of the term demeaning. Amateur is someone who totally unlimited. We wait for you this year, confident that you will be an adventure for the musical and human with many expectations.
