FREE EVENT - SOTTO LA LUNA PIENA

In occasione della Festa della Luna cinese, il nostro partner del Food Design .foo organizza un evento artistico-culinario ispirato al concetto cinese “la luna cambia, come la vita”. L’evento si svolge in un’oasi verde urbana a Milano e propone un percorso tra food design workshop, performance contemporanea e un conviviale aperitivo sotto la luna, in un’atmosfera da giardino.

🌕Food Design Workshop (17:00–18:30)
Un laboratorio creativo-culinario che esplora i temi della luna piena e del ciclo della vita, utilizzando ingredienti vegetariani e materiali naturali del giardino (foglie, fiori, rami).
🌕Performance contemporanea (19:00–19:30)
Una performance che esplora simboli e memorie collettive legate alla luna piena, offrendo un momento di riflessione sul ciclo della vita.
🌕Aperitivo sotto la luna (dalle 19:30)
Degustazione di assaggi vegetariani cinesi e mooncake in un’atmosfera poetica. Fino a esaurimento di cibo e bevande. È benvenuto portare i propri piatti da condividere: una cena conviviale per godere insieme la luna piena.

During Milan Design Week 2025, Zona Sarpi lit up with color and purpose thanks to Winx Club’s “Spread Magic, Not Hate” campaign. From April 7–13, six powerful installations turned the spotlight on digital bullying, using magic and creativity to inspire kindness and awareness in the heart of the city.

Time for sowing 🌱

Closing event – Performance SEMINA by JOYY!
The last day of mdw2025, April 13th, Mi in Mi concluded with SEMINA, a ritual performance at inside . In collaboration with performers of and costume designer , the piece honored the sowing season—a poetic blessing for renewal. Through symbolic gestures, performers evoked a deep connection to the land and the origins of food, inviting reflection on the cycles of nature and our bond with the earth.

Supported by , the event bridged Asian and Italian creativity in a meaningful way.

Studio Magda – Design Studio showcased a captivating project at Fuorisalone Zona Sarpi, blending ancient techniques with contemporary visions. From April 7-13, visitors explored beauty in its many forms, through graphics, poetry, and matter. Discover the new space on Via Paolo Lomazzo and get inspired by this unique narrative experience.

Artist and designer Nicola Maggi exhibited his sculpture-furniture pieces made from marble crusts at an exhibition titled Le Vie del Marmo, held on Via Paolo Sarpi. The event was organized by Maggi Arte Production and curated by Stephan Hamel.

We move, we pause, and in between, the city speaks.
With mirrors as silent narrators, this performance invites us to listen—to space, to memory, and to ourselves. By refracting bodies and landscapes, the installation reveals how cities hold onto traces of who we were, while shaping who we become. Every reflection is a new perspective, every gesture a question to the world around us.

Oggi Riflesso: Between Memory and Presence.

At the intersection of memory and presence, we write poetry with mirrors and converse with the city. Through performance, we explore the relationship between people and space, presence and memory. Mirrors become tools for reflection—both literal and symbolic—inviting participants to rethink how we move through urban landscapes and how the city reflects back who we are.

Officine Saffi Lab presents Architettura per fiori, by Ronan Bouroullec—an evocative collection born from the dialogue between ceramic and glass, developed in collaboration with WonderGlass. Each piece balances solid glass and glazed ceramic to create a silent yet profound beauty, where “composition, tonalities, and brightness speak their own language,” as Bouroullec reflects. The project explores color as both material and surface, with custom glazes that reveal subtle textures through light. A selection will also be on view in Poetica at the Istituto dei Ciechi, alongside works by Vincent Van Duysen.

Dreamy Riceland – Food Design Workshop by JOYY!
