Every month, Inspiring Girls teams around the world are busy raising the career aspirations of girls everywhere. 🌍
This month, we're taking you to Spain, the United States, Mexico and Germany to celebrate some of the inspiring activities making a difference, because if she can see it, she can be it! ✨
🇪🇸 Inspiring Girls España hosted the 8th Inspiring Girls Awards at EY Spain celebrating role models from across business, education, sport and the arts who prove that dreams can become life projects. What made it extra special? Many of the awards were presented by the girls themselves.
🇺🇸 Inspiring Girls USA welcomed 19 middle school girls to the Sol de Janeiro office in New York City for a Shark Tank-style event, where students learned about public speaking, confidence, marketing and entrepreneurship before pitching their own after-school projects to a panel of judges.
🇲🇽 Inspiring Girls México organised an inspiring school visit in Yucatán, where 150 primary school students heard from four role models across different professional backgrounds. Through personal stories and open conversation, the speakers encouraged girls to believe their dreams are achievable, no matter the challenges they may face.
🇩🇪 Inspiring Girls Germany was awarded a Special Prize by the Federal Chancellor at the awards, recognising their outstanding voluntary work and impact. Out of 100 social initiatives, Inspiring Girls Deutschland was one of just seven to receive this honour.
🇹🇭 Inspiring Girls Thailand hosted a career talk with 100 students and four role models from entrepreneurship, corporate, hospitality and diplomacy. The diversity of paths on show sent a powerful message to students as one said: "I have learnt that there is no correct path to be successful."
