An inspiring morning of discussion, followed by networking and a lab tour that brought students and young professionals together - exactly what SPE is about.

Dear SPE community!

We had the incredible opportunity to explore the future of energy at the Eni R&D headquarters (Istituto Eni Donegani) in Novara! 🌍🚀

As the SPE Politecnico di Milano Student Chapter, witnessing firsthand the innovation in sustainable technologies was both inspiring and highly educational. Our visit focused on key advancements in:

Chemical energy storage and solar energy systems.

Biomass pyrolysis and circular economy solutions.

Wastewater treatment and environmental remediation (DNAPL).

A huge thank you to Aldo Bosetti and Lino Carnelli for their expert guidance and for making this day so insightful. It was also a pleasure to share this experience with our colleagues from the SPE Politecnico di Torino Student Chapter 🤝.

Grateful to the SPE Italian Section for organizing and sponsoring this visit. We are more motivated than ever to contribute to the energy transition! ⚡

A new page begins for the SPE Student Chapter.
As we move forward, we’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to the Chapter over the past year for their time, dedication, and commitment. Their work has helped strengthen our community and set the basis for what comes next.

At the same time, we’re excited to welcome the board for the year ahead. We wish the team the very best — may this be a year of new ideas, collaboration, and meaningful initiatives. The Chapter continues to grow thanks to the energy and motivation of its members.
