🚨 Every day, images and videos showing animal cruelty are shared online.

Most people do it with good intentions, hoping to raise awareness and help the victims.

But have you ever considered that every share may also help the content spread further and give visibility to those responsible?

When encountering animal cruelty online, the most effective response is not always to share the content.

Instead of sharing:

✅ Save the evidence
✅ Report the content
✅ Notify the authorities
✅ Contact animal protection organizations

🚨 OIPA ETS and Network for Animals have launched a joint international action regarding New Zealand’s Predator Free 2050 strategy.

The programme is increasingly raising concern due to the large-scale killing of feral cats and the growing involvement of children in organised animal killing activities linked to predator control initiatives.

In response, OIPA ETS and Network for Animals have formally written to the New Zealand Government and jointly prepared a policy briefing, which has now been transmitted to diplomatic missions, UN-related stakeholders, European institutions, and international organisations.

The organisations are calling for humane, science-based alternatives, stronger child protection safeguards, and a precautionary review of current feral cat eradication policies.

The initiative highlighted powerful rescue and adoption stories while encouraging empathy, responsible pet ownership, and respect for all animals — regardless of breed, pedigree, or background.

Former stray and rescued dogs showed that they can be loving, balanced, socialized, and wonderful companions 🐶❤️

🐾 Dog fighting is not entertainment. It is organized cruelty!

Across Italy, increasing pressure is mounting to unlock dedicated funds for the rehabilitation and protection of dogs rescued from fighting rings.

These animals are victims of violence, trauma, and criminal exploitation. Rescue alone is not enough ! they deserve proper rehabilitation, veterinary care, and the opportunity to live free from fear and abuse.

⚖️ OIPA ETS welcomes every concrete step aimed at strengthening protections for animals exploited in criminal activities.

🐬 Dolphins Used in Military Operations

OIPA ETS is deeply concerned about the exploitation of marine mammals for military purposes.

As tensions continue in the Strait of Hormuz, recent reports have reignited attention on the use of dolphins in underwater military programs, including mine detection and naval operations.

Animals should never be used as tools of war.
