Eurama Euro - Asian Society of Breast Diseases

EURAMA (the Euro-Asian Society of Breast Diseases or
“Associazione euro-asiatica sui tumori della mammilla”)
was constituted in 2010 by Professor Umberto Veronesi and
Professor Stefano Zurrida. EURAMA exists to promote the transfer of breast knowledge
and know-how to all countries of the world, so to combat the
disease more effectively. It aims to alert doctors and women
to the growing global problem of breast cancer (2 million
new cases per year expected in 2020), otherwise technology
transfer will be ineffective.
