We are delighted to announce that a distinguished industry leader has joined the judging panel for the Asia Perfume Awards 2026.

Morgane Riou, Senior Perfumer of Sozio Company .

Morgane has always seen perfume as a kind of magic potion: invisible, yet powerful enough to shift a mood or evoke a memory in an instant. This perspective is rooted in her Celtic heritage, where nature and a touch of mysticism are never far away.

Her curiosity led her to study at ISIPCA and after completing an apprenticeship in Grasse, she spent two years in Costa Rica and eight years in Mexico, where the energy of these cultures shaped her vibrant style during this time. She also spent several months in South Africa, adding another layer to her international experience. She then worked for four years in Singapore with EFF, developing fragrances at the crossroads of Asian influences. Later, in Amsterdam, she worked for European and Middle Eastern markets.

Today in Sozio Hong Kong, Morgane continues to create with a global vision shaped by experiences across continents, guided by the same conviction that has driven her from the start: perfume is magic, captured in a bottle.

We are delighted to announce that a distinguished industry leader has joined the judging panel for the Asia Perfume Awards 2026.

Daniel Pescio is an independent perfumer with 30 years of industry experience, offering his formulation, consultancy and education services to the industry and public at .

A graduate of ISIPCA in Versailles, Daniel Pescio is a Brazilian-born independent perfumer and olfactory artist based in France for over 30 years. His international career spans collaborations across France, Japan, Hungary, US and Brazil, including contributions to renowned houses such as Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, Prada, Hermès, and Serge Lutens. Following a role with Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle, he founded his independent practice in 2011, focusing on fragrance creation, lectures, and sensory education.

Awarded in perfume competitions in Spain and the US, Pescio has a creative portfolio including signature projects such as Drinkable Perfume—an innovative sensory experience—and his creation Fleur Cannibale.

Pescio's deep connection with Japanese culture was shaped in 2018 through Kōdō incense training at the Shino-ryū School in Nagoya, leading to an art residency at Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto and exhibitions across Japan and France. Exploring synesthesia and the ephemeral nature of scent, Pescio draws inspiration from Japanese traditions to translate subtle vibrations into evocative olfactory works.

Ryan T. Chadwick is a British perfumer, fragrance educator, and Chief Operating Officer of PerfumersWorld , bringing over 18 years of expertise to the global fragrance industry.

Originally from Oldham, UK, Ryan has spent nearly two decades based in Thailand, establishing an international reputation for combining artistic creativity with technical precision.

Throughout his career, Ryan has led bespoke fragrance development projects for diverse brands across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As a passionate educator, he has trained aspiring and professional perfumers worldwide through globally recognized courses and workshops. His contributions to the craft have earned him the Golden Thai Perfumers Award, reflecting his ongoing dedication to innovation and excellence in modern perfumery.

We are delighted to announce that a distinguished industry leader has joined the judging panel for the Asia Perfume Awards 2026.

Gary Lap-Kee Chin, President of Asia Perfume Foundation and Founder of Hong Kong Perfume School .

Gary Chin is one of the most influential figures in the Asian scent creation community. In 2015, he founded the Hong Kong Perfume School. To date, over 1,500 students have completed professional certificate courses through the school.

Beyond training fragrance consultants and nurturing a new generation of perfumers, he also provides entrepreneurial guidance, job referrals, and brand development consulting for independent perfumers and perfume houses.

Currently, Gary serves as the President of the Asia Perfume Foundation, playing a key role in connecting and cultivating the fragrance community across Asia.

Camille Blaizot, Chief Regional Officer Asia at PCW France .

Camille Blaizot is a Grasse-based perfume ingredients trader and fragrance house. She leads PCW’s expansion across Asia while driving the company’s digital transformation and eCommerce strategy. Drawing on a background in global partnerships and digital transformation, she focuses on connecting French perfumery expertise with new markets, technologies and business models.

We are delighted to announce that a distinguished industry leader has joined the judging panel for the Asia Perfume Awards 2026.

Sojin Kwon, Perfumer of Sozio Company .

From a young age, Sojin’s keen sense of smell drew her to perfumery. With a chemistry background and a deep curiosity, Sojin studied in Korea before continuing her training in France.

After completing the ICAP Master in Montpellier, she began the career as a perfumer analyst in Mouans-Sartoux. Later, driven by interest in different cultures and fragrance preferences, she moved to Thailand to explore the Asian market, gaining a broader understanding of consumers and fragrance creation.

Today, Sojin continues her journey at Sozio, combining technical expertise, cultural inspiration, and a passion for crafting meaningful, story-driven fragrances.

“My inspiration comes from memories and sensations experienced through my eyes, skin, and nose, not only from special moments, but also from everyday life. I enjoy translating these impressions into scent and giving them a new expression through fragrance. One of my favorite raw materials is ciste absolute. I appreciate its many facets, combining a subtle freshness with warm ambery and balsamic notes. In some ways, I feel a connection with this material, as it reflects the balance and depth I like to bring to my creations.”

Cédric Gras, Perfumer of Sozio Company .

Upon completing his studies at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris, Cédric joined Sozio as a Perfumer Analyst in Seillans, located near Grasse, the capital of the perfume industry. Later, he realized his aspiration of becoming a Perfumer in the Fine Fragrance creative
center of Sozio.

Since 2025, he has relocated to explore the diverse world of scents throughout Asia. After these enriching years with Sozio, he is eager to immerse himself in Asian perfumery, a field he is truly passionate about.

Angel Fu, Event Director of Cosmoprof Asia and Cosmoprof Connect Dubai, Informa Markets.

Alongside a strong passion and drive for the MICE industry, Angel has more than 25 years’ experience in the events sector, with a focus on handling outbound sales, organizing meetings, conferences and exhibitions. Before joining Informa, Angel was previously with Reed Exhibitions for 18 years, managing international trade exhibitions of different scales as well as heading an international sales force of 11 Asian countries including Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Her role at Informa comprises managing Asia’s leading beauty event Cosmoprof Asia and the new launch event Cosmoprof Connect Dubai, as well as growing the beauty portfolio of events and exhibitions in new potential markets.
