🛒🚚 When heavy grocery becomes a business opportunity.
On May 6th we hosted Hendrik Wawers, COO & Co-Founder of , for an evening that was anything but a standard talk.

Italy is the country with the highest bottled water consumption in Europe, yet carrying heavy groceries home remains one of the most frustrating errands people face. Hendrik showed us how Bevy turned this real, everyday problem into a scalable business, growing from scratch to 25,000+ active customers across 4 cities.

But the most valuable part of the evening? His honesty about mistakes made: from a free delivery model that simply wasn’t sustainable, to the pivots and adaptations that eventually got them to operational profitability. No theory, just real decisions, made under pressure.

The room jumped into an interactive discussion tackling city expansion, customer acquisition, cost optimization and strategic priorities, making the whole thing feel less like a lecture and more like a live strategy session.
