We are proud to announce that tomorrow, during the 2nd IAESZ National Conference & Exhibition at Hotel Verde in Stone Town, Unguja, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be officially signed between the Warka Water Zanzibar Foundation (WWZF) and the Institute of Architects, Engineers and Surveyors Zanzibar (IAESZ).

This important partnership marks a major step forward in promoting sustainable, community-centered development across the islands.

The signing ceremony will take place in the esteemed presence of the Guest of Honour, the Honorable Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar.

This MOU reflects our shared commitment to fostering local capacity, empowering professionals, and driving innovation in eco-friendly architecture, engineering, and sustainable infrastructure.

🌍💧 Join Warka Water at Codeway EXPO 2025! 💧🌍

We’re thrilled to announce that Warka Water Inc., in collaboration with Vittori Design Studio and the Embassy of Tanzania, will be participating in Codeway EXPO, opening tomorrow in Rome! This 3-day international event is dedicated to cooperation and sustainable development.

On display: the very first prototype of Warka Tower No. 1, built in 2014. This iconic structure is a powerful symbol of our mission and philosophy. Since its creation, it has traveled the world as a true ambassador of Warka Water, featured in exhibitions, documentaries, festivals, and conferences, raising awareness about clean water access and sustainable design.

We are honored to exhibit alongside the Embassy of Tanzania in Rome, and proud to officially present the SEED Initiative to the public for the very first time. Developed for the Swahili region, starting from Pemba Island, SEED is a holistic program for community empowerment through design, innovation, and sustainability.

🌿 Great Enthusiasm in Pantelleria for the Warka Towers! 🌿

On April 3rd, 2025, Architect Arturo Vittori, founder of Warka Water Inc, presented his groundbreaking project at the University of Pantelleria – Unipant: the Warka Tower, an innovative structure designed to harvest drinking water from the humidity in the air, offering a sustainable solution for vulnerable communities around the world.

💧 The event sparked strong interest and lively interaction with a diverse audience of architects, engineers, local farmers, and citizens of all ages, all eager to explore new strategies for tackling water scarcity and supporting social innovation.
The initiative, launched by Vice President Nuccia Farina, was such a success that Unipant is already planning a return visit for a more in-depth seminar… with the ambitious goal of building a Warka Tower on the island! 🌱🏗️
Councilor Bonì, attending on behalf of the Municipal Administration, enthusiastically supported the initiative, which was part of the Participatory Democracy program.
The project will also be presented to Italo Cucci, Commissioner of the Pantelleria National Park, who was unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict with another official event.
