The Firenze Chapters of the Knights of Rizal and the Kababaihang Rizalista have organised a Joint Luncheon Meeting where the KOR Firenze's Work Programme for RY 2025-2026 (WP2025-2027) was introduced.

The WP2025-2027 was divided by Programmes, each with its Programme Director to oversee their implementations:
- Ceremonial Programme
- Social Action Programme
- Cultural and Research Programme
- Fundraising Programme
- Chapter Expansion and Synergies Programme

This RY's Social Action Programme will continue its focus on the advocacy of increasing Filipino youth's participation in higher education as well as offering the community services such as Free Legal Consultation iniatiative.

The Joint Meeting also took stock of the successful organisation of the Philippine Independence Day 2026 which ws attended by the Philippine Ambassador Sir Nathaniel Imperial, Hon. Consul-General in Florence Sir Fabio Fanfani, City of Florence Assessor Nicola Paulesu and District 4 President Mirko Dormentoni and saw the deployment of the Chapter's Honor Guard Corps commanded by Maj. Sir Mario Cadauan, KCR.

The Knights of Rizal - Firenze Chapter recently supported the organisation of the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence in Florence, facilitating the wreath-laying ceremony and floral offering to Rizal. The celebrations were led by H.E. Ambassador Sir Nathaniel Imperial, KGOR accompanied by Honored Guests Consul-General Randy Arquiza, Labor Attache Teresa Pimentel, Honorary Consul-General Sir Cav. Fabio Fanfani, KGOR, Municipality of Florence Councilor Nicola Paulesu sent on behalf of Mayor Sara Funaro and Quartiere 4 President Mirko Dormentoni. Sir Mario Cadauan, KCR commanded the Honor Guards of the Firenze Chapter comprised of postulants who acted as flag and wreath-bearers and lending dignity to the occasion.
