Celebrating Europe through music 🇪🇺✨

On an important day: 9 May — Europe Day — the European Union Baroque Orchestra performed in Darmstadt , followed by another concert in Schwetzingen on May 10.
These concerts were a meaningful reminder of what EUBO represents: bringing together young musicians from across Europe to collaborate, connect and share our common cultural heritage through music.

For more than 40 years, EUBO has stood as a unique European project — not only preserving and performing baroque music through historically informed performance practice, but also creating artistic exchange beyond borders, languages and cultures.

Especially on Europe Day, we are proud to continue our role as cultural ambassadors, celebrating the power of music to unite people and create dialogue across Europe. ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Darmstadt and Schwetzingen and continues to support young artists, live performance and European cultural collaboration.

See you at our next concert 🌟

United in Diversity: when the early music sector comes together, its voice grows stronger. EUBO is proud to be a founding member of the European Early Music Network REMA (EEMN) .eemn , which has been working for over 25 years to bring together all the key actors in this field and to foster meaningful international collaboration aimed at promoting and preserving our shared musical heritage.

EUBO’s activities are deeply rooted in a broad and dynamic network of partners, through which we design residencies across the continent—one of the defining elements of the orchestra’s truly European identity.

More information about our partners and the 2026 residency locations will be available soon. In the meantime, we warmly thank REMA for the opportunity to connect, exchange, and stand together in support of our unique musical heritage. Advocating for these values is more important than ever—more on this in the following statement.

On this day, 21 March—Early Music Day—we celebrate the remarkable richness of early music and the strength we share as a community.
