Easysustainability is a broad online community that involves professionals, NGOs and other entities active in the sustainability field.

Easysustainability is a project-based NGO operating at the European level. It aims to upskill youth through non-formal educational methods, project works, and MOOCs to have higher chances of landing green jobs.

When did you last learn something from a bee?

At the Youth Eco-Exchange in Armenia, young people from 8 countries spent four days discovering how the smallest things hold our world together.

Like the bees of Alaverdi, quietly pollinating their way through entire ecosystems.

They also made art out of leaves and branches in the Dendropark, picked up litter near Norashen Nature Reserve on World Cleanup Day, and talked a lot about what biodiversity really means for their generation.

But the real lesson from the bees? What you gather, you’re meant to share.

So that’s exactly what they’re doing. Each participant is heading home to lead a session in their own school or community, spreading what they learned the way bees spread pollen.

Turns out, some of the best teachers are very small and very buzzy :)

Why limit green impact to one region when we can build bridges across continents?

Our President Federico spent an inspiring afternoon in Milan at the Incontro di cooperazione economica e commerciale Cina-Italia (Sichinan-Milano), connecting with business and institutional leaders from both countries.

We built many new connections, having conversations ranging from sustainable supply chains and aviation to nonprofit projects and future collaborations.

Sometimes, the most interesting opportunities begin when you step outside your usual circles , and make a connection that could lead to something bigger.

“We’ll get to sustainability once we have more time and budget.”

We hear this from founders all the time. And honestly, we get it.

When you’re building a company, there are a hundred things competing for your attention. Sustainability can easily become something you know you should work on, but keep pushing to “later.”

In 1917, two young girls convinced the world that fairies were real using paper cut-outs, hat pins, and a camera. Even the creator of Sherlock Holmes bought into it!

While paper fairies were harmless, today’s climate disinformation and greenwashing are anything but. On modern social algorithms, fake news spreads far faster than facts can catch up.

That is why Easysustainability has partnered with Zielona Stacja Social Cooperative to launch a new project: Fake News Trap: Play the Game, Unmask the Lies

We are thrilled to announce that the European Union has co-funded the project under the Erasmus+ Programme. 🇪🇺

The project will be a brand-new card game and mobile app designed to help young people develop the critical thinking skills they need to spot climate disinformation and greenwashing. Our goal is to build media literacy and cultivate digital trust in our communities.

The project is just starting and will run for 18 months, until February 2028.

This is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience you need to try!

We just wrapped up our first Erasmus+ KA122 project (adult education), and it exceeded all our expectations!

Easysustainability won the EU project SUSTAINUP, partnering with two bigger and more experienced organisations: NGO Nest Berlin and AJITER - Terceira Island Youth Association.

The objective was simple: learn best practices from established organisations, take notes and strengthen our own.

The first part of the project took place in Berlin, where our volunteers learnt how to write EU project applications. The second part in Terceira Island, focused on receiving "job shadowing" from a more experienced team.

An exotic and exciting travel destination indeed! However, it was fertile ground for a strategic partnership for us.

During the project, we covered various themes, including our EU funding strategy, growth, governance, social media presence, tools, and more.

For each topic, our approach was simple:

* Map the current situation, including achievements and struggles.

* Comparison with AJITER: Décio Santos kindly took the time to share what’s working (and what isn’t) in their approach. It was fantastic to exchange insights, and we were even able to share some of our own best practices in carbon calculation and tech tools!

* Define the future state: Consolidation of feedback and deciding next steps.

And of course, this Erasmus project was co-funded by the EU.

The result? Beyond significantly growing our knowledge in EU funding, partnership building, and other technical areas, we took this opportunity to launch a full-scale organisational restructuring!

We also produced a comprehensive report including our growth projections; some readers of this post might get to see it soon.

We are thrilled for what’s next. Three years ago, we were just a single LinkedIn post asking for volunteers. Few thought an organisation could grow this far, this fast, but persistence pays off.
