When we get together, the connectivity is palpable.

AFRIT is about building bridges for Africans to integrate into the Italian society, but as we become part of another, we must not lose ourselves and what we stand for.

In Italy you need patience, especially if you're an English speaking immigrant who already has formed opinions because you have relatives who are doing well in the UK, Canada Australia and the US.

The language will teach you patience, as well as the bureaucratic process for your residence permit. Then you will grow wings with patience as you search for a job.

But when you finally settle, it is worth it.
