Last week's Troop Time was a blast!

From our regular attendees to first-time visitors—and even our smallest little patriots—everyone had a great time. Between lunch, gaming, relaxation, connection, and plenty of fun, it was an afternoon to remember!

It was a magical evening this past weekend for Sigonella's middle and high school students at their prom! USO Sigonella was honored to help kick off the celebration by providing a senior prom gift and our delicious, famous popcorn. Congratulations to all of the seniors, and best wishes for the exciting journey ahead!

This past week, USO Sigonella staff, civilian volunteers, and active-duty volunteers assigned to NAS Sigonella were recognized during NAS Sigonella's Awards ceremony by Commanding Officer Capt. Martins.

The USO Sigonella team was recognized for outstanding dedication and commitment to the mission throughout the past year.

Please join me in congratulating our Volunteer of the Month, Beonckia McManus!

Beonckia joined us in February and has been making a positive impact ever since. She was a tremendous help with mission flights, volunteering overnight while also serving full-time as an active-duty sailor. She consistently steps up to support events such as Waffle Wednesday, Sailor of the Quarter, and many others.

When asked about her motivation for volunteering, Beonckia said, "I am trying to brighten anyone's day the best I can."

Thank you, Beonckia, for your dedication, positive attitude, and willingness to serve others. Congratulations again on being named Volunteer of the Month!

🎉 Congratulations to our Volunteers of the Quarter, Lennie and Coral Roland! 🎉

Lennie and Coral have made an incredible impact since joining our volunteer team last year. Whether they're preparing lunches for Troop Time, helping at BBQs and special events, or warmly welcoming service members and families, they consistently go above and beyond.

This past quarter, they stepped up in a major way to support center operations, taking on leadership roles and ensuring our programs continued to run smoothly during a challenging period.

Despite maintaining full-time commitments as missionaries and volunteering with multiple organizations on base, Lennie and Coral always made USO events and Troop Time a priority. Their dedication, reliability, and servant hearts have made a lasting difference in our community.
