It offers reconstruction of combat techniques, historical cooking and craft activities of the XVI and XVII century Compagnia d’Arme Strategemata APS è un’associazione fondata a Treviso nell’ottobre del 2008, con sede attualmente in Fontanafredda (PN); è presente nel panorama rievocativo da oltre quindici anni, sempre impegnata nello studio e nella diffusione della cultura della rievocazione storic
a rinascimentale. Propone una divulgazione al pubblico di stampo fortemente nord-europeo, dove la rievocazione storica è considerata una metodica ludico-didattica di grande importanza culturale, improntata sulla ricerca continua della correttezza delle informazioni divulgate e delle figure storiche presentate. L’associazione è impegnata nella ricostruzione del campo di una Rotte (unità base del Reggimento) di Lanzichenecchi, i temuti mercenari imperiali tedeschi attivi in Italia tra il 1490 e il 1530, e del relativo seguito di supporto, le cosiddette Tross (Salmerie), proponendo quindi tanto le tecniche militari quanto i risvolti culturali, civili, filosofici e gastronomici correlati ai Lanzichenecchi ed alla loro eredità storica raramente citata. La nostra Associazione nasce e cresce nel Nordest, con buona parte dei soci diffusi tra le province di Treviso, Pordenone e Udine. Nell’anno 1500 l’ultimo Conte di Gorizia, Leonardo di Lurngau, muore senza dare continuità alla dinastia, e tutta quella che fu la Principesca Contea di Gorizia (Gorizia, Cormons, Sagrado, Aquileia, Pordenone, Marano Lagunare, il Cadore e il Basso Trentino) passa sotto la reggenza diretta dell’Imperatore Massimiliano I d’Asburgo, rendendo quindi a tutti gli effetti l’area una parte del Sacro Romano Impero. La sua eredità verrà a lungo contesa tra Serenissima e Impero con alterne fortune, tanto che ad esempio Pordenone tornerà sotto San Marco già nel 1514, mentre Cormons rimarrà Austriaca fino alla Prima Guerra Mondiale; tuttavia, l’influenza sociale, artistica e militare germanica rimarrà incisa in maniera indelebile nella cultura e nel territorio del Nordest italiano. Dal 2009 la Compagnia fa parte del Coordinamento Europeo Lanzichenecco della Svevia e Baviera (B.O.L. - Bund-Oberschwäebischer Landsknechte), una comunità che conta più di 900 membri volta a ricostruire la vita del Reggimento Lanzichenecco nella sua interezza. Compagnia d'Arme Strategemata APS is an association founded in Treviso in October 2008, currently based in Fontanafredda (PN) - Italy; it has been present in the re-enactment panorama for over fifteen years, always committed to the study and diffusion of the culture of Renaissance historical re-enactment. It proposes a figure to the public of a strongly Northern European nature, where historical re-enactment is considered a recreational-educational method of great cultural importance, based on the continuous search for the correctness of the information disclosed and the historical figures presented. The association is involved in the reconstruction of a Rotte (basic unit of the Regiment) of Landsknechts, the feared imperial German mercenaries active in Italy between 1490 and 1530, and of their supporting entourage, the so-called Tross (Bagtrains), thus proposing both military techniques and the cultural, civil, philosophical and gastronomic implications related to the Landsknechts and their rarely mentioned historical legacy. Why reenact the Landsknechts in Italy? Our Association was born and grew in the North-East, with a large part of its members spread across the provinces of Treviso, Pordenone and Udine. In the year 1500 the last Count of Gorizia, Leonard Von Lurngau, died without giving continuity to the dynasty, and all that was the Princely County of Gorizia (Gorizia, Cormons, Sagrado, Aquileia, Pordenone, Marano Lagunare, Cadore and Basso Trentino) passed under the direct regency of Emperor Maximilian I of Hapsburg, thus making the area to all intents and purposes a part of the Holy Roman Empire. Its legacy was long disputed between the Venice's Serenissima Repubblica and the Empire with alternating fortunes; Pordenone returned to San Marco in 1514, while Cormons remained Austrian until the First World War; however, the Germanic social, artistic and military influence will remain indelibly engraved in the culture and territory of Northeastern Italy. Since 2009, the Company has been part of the European Landsknecht Coordination of Swabia and Bavaria (B.O.L. - Bund-Oberschwäebischer Landsknechte), a community that has more than 900 members aimed at reconstructing the life of the Landsknecht Regiment in its entirety.
