Established in January 2018, the Youth@Work Partnership on Youth Employability and Entrepreneurship is a transnational institutional alliance of 11 Erasmus+ National Agencies (NAs), 4 SALTO-YOUTH Resource Centres (SALTOs), as well as the Resource Centre for the European Solidarity Corps. Youth@Work intends to create synergies between different activities and support measures organised in the areas of youth employability and entrepreneurship in the context of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps EU Programmes. The focus is on supporting how Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps can be used as an instrument to foster youth employability and entrepreneurship, and to reinforce networking and the exchange of practices among the European countries and EU partner regions covered by the partnership.

What an inspiring way to wrap up our training course! 🌾✨

On the third and final day, participants turned their attention to future possibilities and practical solutions for rural youth, exploring how ideas can become meaningful action.

👉 Exploring opportunities: Discovering key programmes and funding opportunities to bring rural youth initiatives to life.

👉 Thinking ahead: Getting introduced to Social Innovation and the methodology through an engaging, gamified activity, exploring future trends and how to apply strategic foresight in practice.

👉 Turning ideas into action: Working together to develop and present concrete, innovative project proposals.

👉 Reflecting on the journey: Looking back at the learning experience, sharing insights and evaluating the course together.

🙌 Participants leave with fresh perspectives, new methodologies and practical tools to inspire positive change in their local communities.

The second day of our training course was all about diving deeper, gaining practical tools, and learning from impactful experiences! 🌾💡

Participants explored key insights and frameworks on European policies related to rural youth, including the PAC (Common Agricultural Policy), the EU Youth Goals, and the European Youth Work Agenda. Furthermore, in working groups, everyone analyzed a series of inspiring experiences and initiatives in diverse rural contexts in the world, evaluating their impact and feasibility for replicability in their own communities 🌱.

The journey continued with an approach to a specific working methodology designed for easy adaptation for the design and implementation of projects, followed by a dedicated space to reflect on the learning journey ✨. This allowed participants to process all the valuable information and experiences gathered so far.

The next session will focus on the co-creation of concrete proposals for rural youth using a social innovation methodology. 💡🤝

The training course "Youth@Work Inclusive Horizons: Empowering Rural Youth through and " has kicked off in Vasto, Italy! 🌾💡

Organised by Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù - AIG, the event brings together youth workers and changemakers 🙌 from 7 countries (Italy, Turkey, Finland, Georgia, Poland, Armenia, and Romania), all engaged in youth work and rural community development.

The opening day explored ways to tackle rural depopulation and create opportunities for young people. An inspiring panel featuring Sara Pane (Give Back Giovani Aree Interne), Niccolò Rotoloni (rural development projects), Vladimir Arkov (Relocante.it), and Casey Harch (Melemarze) sparked discussions on local challenges and solutions.

🤝🌱Through an interactive press conference activity, participants explored rural challenges across countries and co-created sustainable solutions. The day wrapped up with an NGOs fair, encouraging exchanges, connections, and future partnerships.

💬 Up next: hands-on tools for social entrepreneurship and green growth, new rural project ideas, and stronger cross-sectoral networks!

👋 ¡Saludos desde Madrid! / Greetings from Madrid! 🇪🇸 Members of the Youth@Work Strategic Partnership Steering Group gathered in on 29-30 September 2026, hosted by the Spanish National Agency - Instituto de la Juventud de España, Injuve.

Across two days of strategic sessions, the Steering Group focused on key priorities to maximize our collective impact:
👉 Alignment: Aligning our joint roadmap for 2026/2027–2028.
👉 & : Defining our institutional voice and vision for the post-2027 era.
👉 Engines for : Leveraging our revamped website and Toolkit as vital assets to nurture a dynamic community of practice.
👉 & Impact: Outlining concrete steps for the roadmap beyond 2027 to ensure sustained support for youth employability and entrepreneurship.

A big thank you to INJUVE-SV for hosting such an inspiring and productive meeting.

For the upcoming Youth@Work “Inside Track” webinar, “Closer Than You Think: Bringing Social Innovation to You,” trainers Alicia and Cova will guide participants through an interactive session exploring how social innovation can become more practical, accessible and connected to youth work.

We will also be joined by Margarita Albors, Founder and President of Social Nest Foundation in Valencia, Spain, who brings 15 years of experience supporting founders and startups that turn ideas for social and environmental good into real impact.

Together, they will help us explore how youth work can turn ideas, challenges and community needs into meaningful social impact.
