Anche quest’anno, come potete notare dalla foto che ritrae il “totem” pubblicitario realizzato dall’Amministrazione comunale, siamo presenti con le nostre attività estive dedicate alla promozione del borgo. Dopo i servizi bar invernali offerti nel foyer del Teatro Sacra Famiglia (ben nove appuntamenti con distribuzione gratuita di caffè e bevande calde) per tutto il periodo estivo torneranno, ogni mercoledì, le nostre tradizionali serate dei “Caffè di Castello c’è”. Nell’elenco totem dei principali eventi estivi del mese di luglio non compare il tradizionale appuntamento con la musica di qualità, conosciuto da anni come “Dogliani Open Sounds”. Preso atto di questa nuova e diversa programmazione culturale, sentiamo il dovere di ringraziare, attraverso questo post, tutti coloro che negli ultimi nove anni hanno collaborato con entusiasmo e competenza a questo progetto. Un ringraziamento particolare va al direttore artistico della manifestazione, Edoardo Bellotti; ai fonici e ai tecnici luci che, nel corso degli anni, hanno saputo valorizzare con professionalità la musica e i luoghi storici del borgo antico di Dogliani Castello; alle tre Amministrazioni comunali che, in tutto o in parte, hanno sostenuto economicamente l’iniziativa; agli sponsor che hanno creduto nella possibilità di promuovere il borgo attraverso proposte di qualità; a chi ha ospitato su suolo privato questa manifestazione; al pubblico, competente e partecipe, che ha seguito e apprezzato i numerosi concerti; e, infine, a tutti i musicisti che si sono esibiti sul palco di “Dogliani Open Sounds”. È stato un piacere e un onore essere parte attiva di un progetto culturale che ha accompagnato la crescita e la trasformazione di un piccolo borgo, per troppo tempo trascurato e scarsamente valorizzato. Siamo convinti che dalla conclusione di questa esperienza possano nascere, in futuro, nuove idee capaci di riproporre valori per noi fondamentali: la qualità della musica, senza compromessi; la professionalità nel proporla; e la capacità di sostenerla nel tempo con costanza, attraverso una programmazione continua e intelligente, all’interno di luoghi storici naturalmente predisposti all’ascolto musicale e agli incontri. Noi, come sempre, continueremo a promuovere il luogo in cui viviamo attraverso piccoli progetti che, sommati negli anni, hanno prodotto cambiamenti urbani significativi e duraturi. Questo sappiamo fare, e questo continueremo a fare anche in futuro. Alleghiamo a questo post una galleria fotografica delle varie edizioni della rassegna musicale “Dogliani Open Sounds”. Also this year, as you can see from the photo showing the promotional “totem” created by the Municipal Administration, we are present with our summer activities dedicated to promoting the village. After the winter bar services offered in the foyer of the Sacra Famiglia Theatre (no fewer than nine events with free distribution of coffee and hot drinks), throughout the summer our traditional “Caffè di Castello c’è” evenings will return every Wednesday. In the totem listing the main summer events for the month of July, the traditional appointment with quality music, known for years as “Dogliani Open Sounds,” does not appear. Having taken note of this new and different cultural programming, we feel it is our duty to thank, through this post, everyone who over the past nine years has collaborated with enthusiasm and professionalism on this project. Special thanks go to the festival’s artistic director, Edoardo Bellotti; to the sound engineers and lighting technicians who, over the years, have professionally enhanced both the music and the historic locations of the ancient village of Dogliani Castello; to the three municipal administrations that, in whole or in part, provided financial support for the initiative; to the sponsors who believed in the possibility of promoting the village through high-quality cultural proposals; to those who hosted this event on private property; to the knowledgeable and engaged audience who attended and appreciated the many concerts; and finally, to all the musicians who performed on the stage of “Dogliani Open Sounds.” It has been a pleasure and an honor to play an active role in a cultural project that accompanied the growth and transformation of a small village that for too long had been neglected and insufficiently appreciated. We are convinced that from the conclusion of this experience, new ideas may arise in the future, capable of once again promoting values that are fundamental to us: uncompromising musical quality; professionalism in presenting it; and the ability to sustain it over time with consistency, through continuous and thoughtful programming within historic places naturally suited to musical listening and social gatherings. As always, we will continue to promote the place where we live through small projects which, added together over the years, have produced significant and lasting urban changes. This is what we know how to do, and this is what we will continue to do in the future.
