Il Comitato si impegna a costruire per la compagine accademica cremonese uno spazio ricreativo di confronto, organizzando, in stretto contatto con l'Associazione Studenti del Dipartimento e il Coro della Facoltà di Musicologia, una stagione concertistica annuale, coinvolgendo studenti e docenti, e raggruppando musicisti appartenenti ai più svariati repertori musicali. 🎼

A tu per tu con: AGONY OF INSANITY

Se finora vi eravate dolcemente cullati tra melodie pop, progressioni jazz e delicatezze acustiche, preparatevi al trauma. Il momento della delicatezza è ufficialmente finito. Gli Agony of Insanity non sono qui per farvi ballare o per farvi piangere sulle vostre pene d’amore: sono qui per radere al suolo il palco a colpi di death e brutal death metal.
Come si analizza il brutal death metal in un saggio di teoria musicale? Non si analizza. Si subisce, possibilmente in mezzo a un pogo feroce. Dimenticate le partiture pulite: qui si entra nel regno dei BPM disumani, delle accordature ribassate fino al nucleo terrestre e della doppia cassa assassina.

Agony of Insanity aren’t here to make you dance or cry over your heartbreaks: they’re here to tear the stage to the ground with death and brutal death metal.
How do you analyze brutal death metal in a music theory essay? You don’t analyze it. You endure it, preferably in the midst of a ferocious mosh pit. Forget clean scores: here we enter the realm of inhuman BPMs, tunings lowered to the Earth’s core, and killer double bass drums.

A tu per tu con: ANDREA & GLI EUGENIO IN PARANOIA

Un po’ tributo, un po’ seduta di terapia di gruppo. Il nome è un’esplicita ed esilarante dichiarazione d’amore (e di ansia) agli Eugenio in via di Gioia, e il loro repertorio ne è la prova. Tra cover della celebre band torinese e perle del cantautorato italiano di ieri e di oggi, sono pronti a farvi sgolare su testi intrisi di ironia e riflessioni esistenziali.
La particolarità di questa formazione? Hanno un tasso di microfoni sul palco che farebbe invidia al Festival di Sanremo: praticamente cantano *tutti*. Tutti a parte uno: il trombettista. Ma perdonatelo, è straniero...
A proposito: siete riusciti a capire da dove viene? A chi indovina darà 5 euro lui stesso 👀

Part tribute, part group therapy session. The name is an explicit and hilarious declaration of love (and anxiety) to Eugenio in via di Gioia, and their repertoire is proof of that. From covers of the famous Turin band to gems of Italian singer-songwriters past and present, they’re ready to make you scream with lyrics steeped in irony and existential reflections.
What’s special about this group? They have a microphone count on stage that would make the Sanremo Music Festival envious: practically *everyone* sings. Everyone except one: the trumpet player. But forgive him, he’s a foreigner...
By the way: have you managed to figure out where he’s from? He’ll give 5 euros to whoever guesses correctly 👀

Se c’è una cosa che i corsi accademici non insegnano, è come eseguire un’inclinazione anti-gravitazionale a 45 gradi (anche detta moonwalk) senza spaccarsi i denti sul palco. Ma a colmare questa grave lacuna didattica ci pensano i Wacko Jacko, la tribute band pronta a resuscitare l’anima, il groove e i lustrini del Re del Pop!

Dimenticate le solite serate accademiche: qui si entra nel territorio sacro dei calzini bianchi su mocassino nero, dei guanti singoli e dei synth anni ‘80. L’obiettivo? Farvi ballare fino a quando le vostre caviglie non chiederanno pietà.

A tu per tu con: I SOSTITUTI

Pensavate che le scadenze accademiche, i bandi e le iscrizioni agli esami su Esse3 fossero improcrastinabili? Beh, questa band è qui per dimostrarvi il contrario.
Non hanno mandato la mail di iscrizione in tempo? Vero. Erano ufficialmente fuori dai giochi? In un certo senso sì. Ma il destino (o una fortunata congiunzione astrale unita a un colpo di fondoschiena che ha liberato uno slot all’ultimo secondo) ha deciso che il palcoscenico del 22 maggio doveva essere loro.
I Sostituti sono la dimostrazione vivente che l’audacia (e una buona dose di fortuna) premia sempre!
Niente ansia da ritardo, però: il loro repertorio vi animerà con le atmosfere calde e super cool del pop e dell’R&B. Il perfetto contrappeso sonoro al loro brivido burocratico.

Did you think academic deadlines, calls for applications, and exam registrations on Esse3 were unpostponable? Well, this band is here to prove you wrong.
They didn’t send the registration email in time? True. Were they officially out of the running? In a certain sense, yes. But fate (or a lucky astral conjunction combined with a last-minute surprise that freed up a slot) decided that the stage on May 22nd had to be theirs.
I Sostituti are living proof that boldness (and a good dose of luck) always pays off!
