Dog Rescue All Creations Onlus With 100 dogs at the rescue no employees and working 24/7 many of these dogs have been abandoned, unwanted discarded we are blessed we have found them

There are so many abandoned dogs in Sicily. The country lacks properly funded dog pounds in which to collect strays. Animal rights groups estimate there are about 750,00 stray dogs, many of them abandoned by their owners and left to run wild. Although local town councils are supposed to round up strays and put them in public kennels, the law are very often ignored as public funds are not provided

for building dog pounds. We are not here to take lives we are here to save lives these abandoned dogs need all the love we can give. Please don't let their remaining years be caged ones let their remaining years be happy and comfortable ones. Let then forget their past whats important is they deserve to be happy all dogs deserve to be happy. Adopt a dog make a difference to a dogs life.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who donated bedding, towels, dog and cat food, treats, and that incredible water hose. What may seem like simple items to some feel like lifelines to us. Every blanket, every bag of food, every treat carries a piece of your heart — and our dogs feel it. We feel it. The hose, especially, will changed our daily routine, and Helga… when you’re here helping, especially with your back, no more dragging heavy water containers like a superhero in disguise. This small gift has brought such big relief.

To Helga Bootsma, and to all the wonderful people who organised and paid for the transport to Sicily — your generosity goes far beyond logistics. You didn’t just send supplies; you sent love, care, and a reminder that kindness still moves quietly through this world. You are all extraordinary human beings, and we are humbled by your support.

We are genuinely so chuffed, so moved, and so deeply grateful for everything you’ve done for our dog shelter.
Your help doesn’t just fill bowls and beds — it fills our hearts. It gives us strength on the days when we’re tired, overwhelmed, or stretched thin. It reminds us that we’re not alone in this mission, that there are people out there who believe in what we do and stand beside us, even from afar.

From all of us — the humans who keep going because of you, and the dogs whose lives are softer, safer, and happier thanks to your kindness — thank you. ❤️🐾

Your support doesn’t just help… it truly touches our souls.

I never imagined I would be writing something like this… and certainly not twice in one week. Our hearts are completely shattered. This week, we had to say goodbye to both Brie and Mel — two gentle, loving souls who brought so much light into our lives.

They each had tumours, the aggressive kind, yet they faced everything with such quiet courage. Even on their hardest days, they still had that softness in their eyes, that sweetness in their nature, that little spark that made them who they were. We were so hopeful when we saw them beginning to improve. We truly believed we were turning a corner. But everything changed so suddenly. They both declined very quickly, and we had to rush them to the vet, where we faced the heartbreaking moment of letting them go.

Brie and Mel were more than dogs — they were pure love wrapped in fur. Brie with her gentle spirit and calm presence, Mel with her bright spark and tender heart. Each of them had their own way of making the world feel softer, kinder, and more beautiful. Losing one would have been devastating… losing them both has left a silence in our home that words can’t describe.

We want to thank everyone who helped us with their veterinary costs. Your kindness gave them the chance to have the surgeries and care they needed, and we will always be grateful for that. They were loved fiercely, they were fought for, and they never walked their journey alone.

Their pawprints will stay on our hearts forever 🐾😘🐾😘

Our sweet Bonnie turns 15 today, and we couldn’t be more grateful to celebrate her. She came into our lives as one of five abandoned puppies, and from the very beginning she showed us what resilience looks like.

Last year she suffered a stroke, and given her age, we feared we might lose her. But Bonnie had other plans. She fought her way back with that same quiet strength she’s always had, proving us all wrong.

Today she’s still full of life—jumping around, bright‑eyed, and without a single grey hair. She looks and acts as if the years haven’t touched her at all.

Happy 15th birthday, 🎁 Bonnie. You are a miracle, a joy, and a reminder of why we do what we do 🐾😘

We want to wish each and every one of you a beautiful and hopeful New Year.

As we look back, our hearts are full. Your kindness, your support, and your belief in us have carried us through more than you may ever realize. We truly could not have made it this far without you.

Running a dog shelter is a labor of love, but it comes with moments of fear and uncertainty—especially when finances are tight. In those moments, knowing that we are surrounded by people who genuinely care about our dogs and our mission has meant everything. Your compassion has lifted us up when we felt overwhelmed, and your generosity has kept our doors open when it mattered most.

Thank you for standing by us.
Thank you for giving us strength when we needed it.
Thank you for being the reason so many dogs have found safety, comfort, and love.

Wishing you a New Year filled with the same kindness you’ve given us 🐾😘 🐾😘

In Loving Memory of Sophia 🌹

Our beautiful Sophia has left us far too soon.

Though her injuries were not life‑threatening, the trauma of her attack was more than her little body could bear.

Sophia came into our lives as a stray, clever and watchful, and quickly found her way into our hearts. Though we tried to find her homes, she always returned — it was clear she had chosen us as her family.

Sophia was a stray cat that I began feeding last year. At the time, I was caring for a dog with a bad leg, trying to gain her trust so I could get her to a vet. We named that dog Heidi because she always hid until I walked away. While I thought Heidi was eating her food, I discovered Sophia was helping herself to it. So I decided to get some cat food so Heidi could eat hers in peace.

Sophia was gentle, affectionate, and never any trouble. A cuddle bug who loved attention, she brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. She raised a litter of kittens who remain with us, and she will live on through them and in our memories.

We are devastated by her loss, but we will always cherish the time we had with her.
Fly high, sweet angel, and play among the stars. You were one of a kind, and you will forever be loved. 💖
