Back2Life Dog Rescue is an organisation based in Italy that is dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs in Lebanon, a country devastated by war and severe economic crisis. We work collaboratively with rescuers and shelters in Lebanon to do this. We believe that dogs can change our lives for the better and we are determined to do the same for them. RAJA NEEDS US 🐾💔

Raja was rescued in Lebanon—like many of our dogs—and arrived in Italy a year ago in search of a family she has yet to find.

Today, Raja is still in the shelter… and she’s facing a new battle.

A tumor has been found on her gum.
We don’t yet know if it’s malignant, but the situation is delicate and requires urgent testing.

Today we took her to an oncologist, who has scheduled a biopsy under sedation for Thursday to determine what it is and to act as quickly as possible.

The estimated cost of the tests is €410—
a significant amount that, for her, could make the difference between suffering and the chance for treatment.

Today Carrie is finally arriving from Lebanon 🐶✈️

Unfortunately, for the other two dogs we had announced, the airline was unable to confirm their transport due to the current war situation.

We know how important it was for them to reach their adoptive families, and we are truly sorry for this setback. With only one available spot, we had to prioritize Carrie, as she is the oldest.

We sincerely hope that a new opportunity will come soon so the other two can also travel and finally be reunited with their families ❤️

At this moment in Lebanon, there is no place for joy—only urgency.

Cindrella, Max, and Carrie have finally found a family waiting for them in Italy, but between them and safety lie the smoke of fires and the sound of bombings. The country where they were born has given them nothing but abandonment, suffering, and now the terror of war.

We have not stopped for a single moment. We are racing against time and chaos to get them out of that hell, trying to secure a flight for March 18 ✈️ The last chance to leave the rubble behind and land in the life they deserve. But every hour that passes is a risk we wish we didn’t have to take.

We won’t feel at peace until we see their paws touch Italian soil. Until then, we hold our breath, working tirelessly so that this flight can become, for them, the beginning of peace.

Cindrella has passed the pre-adoption stage.
A beautiful piece of news ❤️: a family here in Italy is waiting for her with open arms, ready to finally give her the life she deserves.

But just now, when her new life was about to begin, everything has come to a halt. 😔 Her flight on Wednesday was cancelled.

Cindrella is stuck in Lebanon, in a country that in these hours has come under bombardment again and where the airspace has been closed, with thousands of flights cancelled due to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

After years of suffering, waiting, and fear…
just when fate had finally opened a door for her, we cannot accept that everything stops like this.

Cindrella has nothing to do with this absurd war.
She is just a creature who has already suffered enough and who deserves to finally make it home.

We will do everything possible to bring her here.
Even if it means going to pick her up ourselves.

Because after everything she has been through,
Cindrella deserves her happy ending.

It cannot end like this.

Our little Sky 🐶❤️ — for those who don’t know him yet, he’s the small dog with a perianal tumor who is still in Lebanon — has been examined for the second time by a specialized oncologist.

The wound near the tumor, which had become infected, is now healing, and recent check-ups suggest that the tumor has slightly regressed. ❤️
We will continue to do everything possible to ensure he receives the care he needs.

To end 2025 in the best possible way, there was just one more thing we needed to share with you:
the adoption of Nour, Kira (now Bella) and Yorkie (now Mimma) 🐾✨
Their story is the same one shared by all of our adopted dogs: from a life they would have spent on the streets or crammed into overcrowded shelters in Lebanon, to the chance for a real new beginning.
A new beginning made possible by cooperation, teamwork, and above all love, leading them here to Italy, into wonderful families.
Happy, settled, and finally home. ❤️
In 2026, we will keep doing everything we can to give the same happy ending to many more dogs.

A journey — as always — from Lebanon toward a life filled with love and peace.
Three families have fallen madly in love with them, and we can’t wait to welcome them together with their adopters.

✨ DIANA, CANDY and AXEL (now ALDO) have been adopted! ✨

It is always a great joy to announce the adoption of our dogs — three special souls who have finally found the love of a family.

With this cold weather, it warms our hearts to know they are now safe and cozy, surrounded by affection in their new homes. ❤️

We wish Diana, Candy and Aldo a wonderful life filled with runs, play, soft couches and endless cuddles.

🌟 DINGO ADOPTED! 🌟

You were just a 10-month-old pup. You were at risk of being deported — and we sadly know all too well what that means. We took you in to bring you to Italy, so you too could find your family.

You arrived in 2023. We gave you priority over other dogs because you were so thin, we were afraid we might lose you.

In Italy, time passed, you grew up, and became the incredible dog you are. We called you the “dog psychologist” because you were so good, so naturally gifted, at bringing out the best in other dogs.
And yet, despite your exceptional personality, your love for people, and your joyful nature, no one ever asked about you. Not a single call.

Until one day, Mark from England asked about you.
We told him you were in Italy, but he didn’t care — he said he would wait for you.
So we did everything necessary, met his family in person… and we must admit, yes, you waited almost three years, but it was worth it!

Now you’re a proper English Lord (don’t let it go to your head!), and you’re the joy of Mark, his family, and ours too.
Because seeing you FINALLY in a home, loved just as you deserve, moves us deeply.

🐾❤️ LET’S HELP SKY – UPDATE ❤️🐾

Sky is the little Maltese we posted days ago. He’s fighting a very difficult battle: a perianal tumor.

He has been on therapy because his little heart is weak, and before we can even think about a surgery to remove the tumor, we need to know if he is strong enough to handle full anesthesia.

Next week he will undergo another echocardiogram: if the treatment has helped, we will be able to move forward with a CT scan to check the size of the tumor and attempt the surgery that could save his life.

We don’t want to give up. Sky is young, sweet, and full of life! Despite everything, he still finds the strength to wag his tail. He doesn’t deserve the pain he’s going through.

💔 Unfortunately, veterinary expenses are very high: visits, therapies, specialized tests… and this is why we are asking for your help.

It’s not easy to ask, but we’re doing it for him — because Sky deserves a chance.
