OrientWalking Continues to Grow! 🧭
One of the greatest successes of any European project is seeing ideas continue to thrive long after the official activities have ended.
Last weekend, the 2nd edition of an OrientWalking event took place in Casasco, a small village in the Province of Asti (Italy), organized by local enthusiasts who discovered and embraced the discipline through the OrientWalking project.
Participants explored a route crossing woodlands and cultivated fields, walking through landscapes of wheat, corn, and hazelnut trees. The journey led them across the valley and back to the village, where they reached the scenic viewpoint of Parco del Conte before heading to Casasco Castle for a dinner accompanied by live music.
This was not an official project activity, but it perfectly represents what we hoped to achieve: local communities taking ownership of OrientWalking and creating meaningful experiences in their own territories.
From a European project to a local tradition.
From an idea to real impact.
This is the future we envisioned for Orientwalking
