Sulle orme di Caravaggio: un itinerario tra arte, storia e mare 🌊
A Porto Ercole prende nuova vita il Percorso Caravaggio, un percorso culturale diffuso dedicato agli ultimi giorni del grande artista, che proprio qui trovò la fine del suo tormentato cammino nel 1610.
L’iniziativa, promossa per valorizzare il legame profondo tra Caravaggio e il borgo, si sviluppa attraverso una serie di pannelli informativi e installazioni nei luoghi simbolici del suo passaggio: dal porto alle mura, fino alla chiesa di Sant’Erasmo e all’antica via verso Roma.
Un’esperienza a cielo aperto che intreccia arte, storia e paesaggio, invitando residenti e visitatori a riscoprire il fascino autentico di Porto Ercole e dell’intero promontorio.

In Porto Ercole, “The Journey of Caravaggio” comes to life — a cultural itinerary dedicated to the final days of the great artist, who ended his tormented path here in 1610.
The initiative, created to celebrate the deep bond between Caravaggio and the village, unfolds through a series of informational panels and installations placed in the symbolic locations of his passage: from the port to the city walls, from the Church of Sant’Erasmo to the ancient road leading toward Rome.
An open-air experience that weaves together art, history, and landscape, inviting residents and visitors alike to rediscover the authentic charm of Porto Ercole and the entire promontory.
