Great discussion today at the New European Bauhaus Festival on the legacy of the NEB Lighthouse projects ✨

Representing Living Future Europe within the EHHUR project, Carlo Battisti shared a key takeaway:

👉 the challenge is no longer ambition — it is implementation.

Across Europe, communities, cities and practitioners are ready for transformation.
Now we need:
🔹 integrated governance
🔹 enabling procurement
🔹 capacity-building
🔹 and long-term systemic thinking

We also presented two EHHUR “gems”:
✨ the EHHUR Methodology
✨ the DSS Tool for integrated urban transition pathways

Affordable housing should not mean low-performance housing.

As Europe advances the European Affordable Housing Plan, housing providers are facing increasing pressure to deliver more homes — faster, at lower cost, and under growing sustainability requirements.

But affordability, quality, health, and long-term resilience should not be treated as competing priorities.

We’re glad to collaborate with European Federation for Living (EFL) for this upcoming webinar hosted by Carlo Battisti, President of Living Future Europe, exploring how the Living Future Affordable Housing Framework can support more regenerative, healthy, and future-proof housing approaches across Europe.
