Over the past few weeks, we were pleased to welcome a group of trainees from Romania for an enriching internship experience in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and gastronomy.

During their stay, they had the opportunity to discover the secrets of Italian cuisine, gain valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality sector, and explore the traditions, culture, and excellence that make Italy such a unique destination.

Through practical training and cultural exchange, the students developed new professional skills, broadened their international perspectives, and created unforgettable memories along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to all the trainees for their enthusiasm, dedication, and positive energy throughout this experience. We wish you every success in your future careers and hope to welcome you again in the future!

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming back a group of teachers from Zespół Szkół nr 1 w Rudzie Śląskiej, Zespół Szkół nr 3 w Rudzie Śląskiej and Centrum Kształcenia Zawodowego w Rudzie Śląskiej in Poland for a week-long job shadowing project in Bologna. And yes, back is the key word, because this wasn't their first time with us, and that makes us truly happy! 🇵🇱 🇮🇹

During their stay, they visited local businesses across different sectors - from car repair workshops and a hairdressing salon to a local vocational school - observing working methods, professional standards, and workplace organisation. 🙌

The experience gave them new perspectives on vocational education and sparked ideas they are already eager to bring back home.

🇬🇧 A few weeks ago we said goodbye to a special group of 4 students from the Special Education Center in Wojcieszów, Poland, who spent three weeks with us in Bologna working at Conad.

Sometimes the best things come in small packages - their enthusiasm was contagious, and their motivation and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone around them. 🙌
It was a true pleasure having you with us. We hope Bologna gave you as much as you gave us.

🇵🇱 Kilka tygodni temu pożegnaliśmy wyjątkową grupę 4 uczniów z Specjalnego Ośrodka Szkolno-Wychowawczego w Wojcieszowie, którzy spędzili trzy tygodnie w Bolonii, odbywając praktyki zawodowe w sklepie Conad.
Ta wyjątkowa czwórka zostawiła po sobie duży ślad. Ich entuzjazm był zaraźliwy, a motywacja i zaangażowanie zrobiły na wszystkich wokół ogromne wrażenie. 🙌

What could be a better time to experience an Erasmus internship in Italy than springtime? 🌸☀️

Over the past month, we had the pleasure of hosting another wonderful group of students in Reggio Emilia. Seeing Italy in bloom made this experience even more special, especially for the students specializing in landscaping and floristry, who could fully enjoy the colors, nature, and inspiration that spring brings.

The group also completed internships in geodesy and construction, showing great motivation, curiosity, and professionalism throughout their stay.

It was a pleasure to meet such enthusiastic young people and to watch them embrace this international experience with energy and passion. We thank them for choosing our city and wish them the very best for their future! 🌍✨

This month we had the pleasure of welcoming students from School Zespół Szkół Nr 4 Rolnicze Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego im. Władysława Broniewskiego w Wałczu to Reggio Emilia for their internship experience.

We would like to thank them for the enthusiasm, energy, and motivation they brought every single day. It was inspiring to see how eager they were to make the most of this opportunity and grow both personally and professionally.

The students completed internships in different fields, including IT, renewable energy, hospitality, gastronomy, and economics, gaining valuable international experience along the way.

We are grateful to have hosted such a positive and dedicated group, and we wish them all the best for their future studies and careers. We hope to see them again someday! 🌍✨

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of talented students from School "Powiatowe Centrum Kształcenia Technicznego i Branżowego w Oświęcimiu in Reggio Emilia for their internship experience.

During their month with us, they worked across different sectors including logistics, CNC, and IT, showing dedication, curiosity, and a strong willingness to learn every single day.

Beyond the workplace, they made the most of their time in Italy by travelling, discovering new places, and experiencing Italian culture and traditions firsthand. 🇮🇹

It was a great opportunity for cultural and professional exchange, and we are proud to have been part of their journey. We wish them all the best for their future and hope to see them again soon! ✨

Two weeks in and things are going beautifully for our group of 18 students from Powiatowy Zespół Szkół nr 1 w Sieradzu, currently completing their internship right here in Bologna!
Geometers, IT specialists, landscapers, CNC technicians and electricians have been diving into their professions in real work environments, growing in confidence and skills with every passing day. 🙌
And this weekend? They're off to explore Venice, because great internships deserve great adventures too. 🇮🇹
We're so glad to have you with us. Keep it up, you're doing great! ✨

The end of April marked the farewell to a fantastic group of 29 students from Zespół Szkół Technicznych w Kłodzku, who wrapped up their internship in Bologna as part of the project "Euro-praktyki dla Kłodzka V"! 🇵🇱
Logisticians, builders, lab technicians and future renewable energy specialists - they worked across the city in real professional settings, from local shops and supermarkets to the renovation of a historic building right in Bologna's city centre. 🙌
But it wasn't all work! Between shifts, they navigated daily life in a new country, explored Bologna and picked up some Italian along the way - and from what we could see, they loved every bit of it.
It was a joy having you with us. Bologna will miss you - buona fortuna a tutti! 🇮🇹✨

Last month IFOM in Reggio Emilia was pleased to welcome a group of student interns from Wielozawodowy Zespół Szkół w Zatorze, Poland 🌸🇵🇱

Specializing in electromechanics and gastronomy, the students had the opportunity to complete their professional internships here in Italy. Throughout their stay, they demonstrated strong commitment, practical skills, and a great work ethic, both in technical fields and in the kitchen ⚙️👨‍🍳

During their time here, they also explored some of Italy’s most vibrant destinations — Rimini and Milan — discovering local culture, cuisine, and creating unforgettable memories 🌊🇮🇹

Now that their project has come to an end, we would like to thank them for their dedication and positive energy. It was truly a pleasure to host them, and we wish them all the best in their future careers and personal journeys! ✨

Two weeks in Bologna back in February — and what an internship it was!
A group of students from Zespół Szkół Nr 1 im. Tadeusza Kościuszki w Krasnymstawie came here through a program with Fundacja Zielony Słoń, bringing together future chefs, mechanics and economists under one (Italian) roof.
They worked hard, explored the city, and we watched them grow more confident with every passing day, which is exactly what this kind of experience is all about. 🙌
Bologna has a way of leaving its mark, and we hope they're carrying a little piece of it with them wherever they go next.
