DigAccessAgrotourism in Thessaloniki!

This week our project partners are together in Greece, hosted by Camera di Commercio Italo-ellenica di Salonicco, for the 4th TPM and visits to local agrotourism realities.

Today we visited Ktima Gerovassiliou on the slopes of Epanomi, just outside Thessaloniki. 🍇 The family accessible w**ery has been making w**e since 1981 and is also home to a W**e Museum on the history of w**e-growing.
For us, visits like this are where the work comes to life. Seeing how agritourism businesses welcome visitors helps us understand what makes a rural experience truly accessible, from the first click on a website to the moment you walk through the vineyard.

As we enter our final project year, we're turning these insights into practical guidelines and digital tools. They are designed to help agritourism providers across Europe welcome everyone, including people with intellectual disabilities.

🌍 **Nearly 40 Social Economy SMEs in Agrotourism from across our partner countries came together last Friday for another inspiring DigAccess webinar!**

As part of the **DigAccess Project's Digital Development Programme**, participants representing **Social Economy Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the agrotourism sector** explored how to create more **inclusive, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences** for everyone.

During the interactive online workshop, attendees gained valuable insights into:
✅ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
✅ Accessible User Experience (UX) principles
✅ Assistive technologies and inclusive digital design
✅ Practical strategies to improve websites and digital content for people with disabilities, older adults, and all users

The webinar provided participants with practical tools to strengthen their digital presence while ensuring that their services are accessible to a wider audience—supporting the DigAccess mission of making tourism more inclusive and leaving no one behind.
