From July 8th to 16th, 2025, 27 youth workers gathered in Slovakia at Ekokomunita Sekier, an intentional community surrounded by hills and forest. More than just a place, it became an invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect.

RISE – Resilience, Inner Growth, Service, Empathy was a deep journey combining nature-based practices, somatic work, and developmental psychology, helping us rethink how we support young people’s growth.

Through daily practices in nature, sharing circles, movement, journaling, creativity, and silence, we co-created a space of trust, authenticity, and transformation.

We explored fundamental human needs, the “Map of the Psyche” (our inner landscape), and nature as a teacher. Step by step, something within us shifted.

We left with new tools, meaningful connections, and a renewed perspective: this was not an ending, but a beginning. ✨

The RISE project was implemented by Oz Ježko in partnership with EuroYouth e.V., Fondatsia Uchene Za Promyana, Grain&Sens, Mobility Opportunities Happening APS, RELEARN Suderbyn and co-funded by the European Union.

MOH has just returned from Slovenia, where Rosanna, from our team, joined a youth workers mobility within the Training Course “S.E.N.S.E – Sustainability. Empowerment. Networking. Skills. Education”, hosted at Sunny Hills of Istria, Hrvoj from 24 to 31 March 2026.

It was a truly beautiful and intense experience, rich in connections, challenges, and inspiration. For an entire week, youth workers and youth leaders from across Europe came together to share ideas, reflect on their practices, and explore new ways of working with young people around sustainability and facilitation.

The training focused on strengthening leadership and facilitation skills, while also providing practical tools to address environmental challenges in youth work. What made this experience especially meaningful was its strong connection with the reality of ecovillages, spaces where sustainability is not just discussed, but lived every day. These communities, built on ecological, social, cultural, and economic balance, offered a powerful example of how education can happen through shared experiences, participation, and collective responsibility.

Through non-formal learning, group work, and immersive activities, participants discovered new approaches to foster inclusion, cooperation, and environmental awareness among young people. At the same time, the project created a valuable bridge between youth organisations, ecovillages, and sustainable initiatives, strengthening collaboration at a European level.

We came back with fresh perspectives, new tools, and a deeper motivation to continue empowering young people and promoting sustainable lifestyles through our work.

A heartfelt thank you to Yes To Sustainability for designing, facilitating, and coordinating this inspiring project, and to Sunny Hills for hosting us in such a meaningful and welcoming space.

🌱 Green Pulse – Kick-Off Meeting in Warsaw 🌱

Last month, we officially launched "Green Pulse: Youth Powering Personal and Sustainable Development" with an inspiring 3-day Kick-Off Meeting in Warsaw, together with our amazing partners from EQuality and MIHI Latvia 🇵🇱🇱🇻✨

During these intense and productive days, we aligned on the project objectives, clarified roles and responsibilities, and discussed all the practicalities and management steps of our KA2 small-scale project. The meeting was a key moment to build a shared vision and ensure smooth coordination for the months ahead.

💚 Green Pulse addresses eco-anxiety by transforming concern into action. Through eco-education, leadership development, and community engagement, we aim to empower young people and youth workers to lead youth-driven sustainability initiatives aligned with EU climate goals.

👉 Next step: organizing our Training Course in Latvia, where we’ll dive deeper into tools, methodologies, and concrete actions to turn eco-anxiety into collective environmental impact.

This project was financially supported by the Erasmus+ program through the Polish National Agency.

Stay tuned — the pulse of change has started 🌍⚡

From 10 to 16 February 2026, MOH took part in the training course “LARP Essentials for Youth Work”, hosted by Teatro Metaphora in the inspiring setting of Câmara de Lobos, Madeira. The experience focused on strengthening the competences of youth workers interested in bringing creativity and experiential learning into their work with young people.

Throughout the training, we explored how Live Action Role Play (LARP) could be used as an effective educational tool in youth work. The course focused mainly on LARPs that could be easily adapted to different contexts, were accessible to beginners with no previous experience in theatre or role play, and could be implemented with little or no budget and in flexible locations.
Guided by our trainers Andreea Loredana Tudorache and Elena Stevkovska, participants engaged in practical activities, reflection moments, and learning-by-doing processes. Through storytelling, embodiment, and role exploration, we discovered new ways to foster participation, inclusion, and personal growth among young people.

This training was not just a learning experience, but a real turning point. We returned with renewed energy and concrete tools to integrate LARP into our local and international youth work activities, continuing to create meaningful opportunities for young people and to strengthen our engagement in European programmes supported by the European Commission 🇪🇺.

The project was financially supported by the Erasmus+ Program through the Portuguese National Agency and implemented by Teatro Metaphora.

Last October MOH participated to Sea What Happens – Youth Exchange (9–15 October 2025)

Sea What Happens was a youth exchange organized by UngHolbæk, representing the second phase of a project first launched in summer 2024 aboard historic Danish schooners.

The project involved 40 participants: young people aged 13–18 from Denmark and Italy, including MOH APS as one of the Italian partner organizations, together with Oxygene Sails, and supported by 8 group leaders.

Participants developed sailing skills, teamwork, autonomy, and English language competences, as all activities were carried out entirely in English.

We just concluded our mobility for youth workers “Untie the Knot: Storytelling for Resilience and Social Change”, which gathered 21 participants from 7 countries.

During the project, which took place from the 5th till the 13th of November, participants learned to explore cultural narratives, use storytelling for advocacy, practice role-playing and performance techniques, and experiment with sociocracy and group decision-making. They created their own storytelling projects addressing social and civic challenges, strengthening their leadership and community-building skills.

Since returning home, participants have already begun organising follow-up workshops, mentoring young people, and applying storytelling in their local communities.

We’re truly proud of these dedicated youth workers who turned their learning into meaningful change. We can’t wait to see even more positive outcomes ahead!

A heartfelt thank you to our partners, trainers, and everyone who made this journey possible.
And thanks to Agenzia Italiana per la Gioventù - AIG and our partner Yes To Sustainability for the support.

Who remembers when we kicked off “Next STEP to Europe”? 🌍✨
What began as a continuation of our beloved “First STEP to Europe” has now successfully come to an end, and what an incredible journey it has been!

One of the most meaningful results of this project is the empowerment of young people as active and engaged citizens.

Throughout our activities in Poland, Spain, Italy and Greece, participants:
🤝 Built strong collaboration skills with peers from across Europe
🗣️ Gained confidence in taking part in public dialogue
🌱 Deepened their understanding of European values, democratic participation, climate issues and solidarity
🌐 Became more familiar with EU processes and the importance of reliable information
We couldn’t be prouder of the growth, curiosity, and enthusiasm the young participants brought to every meeting, workshop, festival, study visit and anti-conference.

A huge thank you to our amazing partners from Poland 🇵🇱Rozprawy o Europie, Greece 🇬🇷 Kdetyd Kdetyd, and Spain 🇪🇸 for making this journey so impactful.

And of course, thank you to all the young people who took their next step with us. 💙

Stay tuned, more opportunities are always on the horizon!
