🌍💚 Climate change doesn’t affect only our planet… it affects our minds too.

Eco-anxiety, climate distress, emotional overwhelm — these are becoming part of the reality for more and more people around the world.

That’s why WARM Project was created: a European initiative designed to support mental health professionals, educators, and communities in understanding climate-related emotional challenges and building resilience together. 🌱🧠

Through training modules, practical tools, and collaborative learning, WARM promotes a new climate-aware approach to mental wellbeing — turning awareness into action, and anxiety into resilience. 🤝✨

Because caring for mental health also means preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.

💻 Learn, connect, grow — with WARM.

🌍💭 Have you ever felt overwhelmed thinking about the future of our planet?

Eco-anxiety is becoming more and more common, especially among younger generations. But you are not alone. And most importantly: we can turn this concern into action.

💡 The WARM project was created for this purpose:
👉 understand eco-anxiety
👉 build resilience
👉 provide practical tools to face environmental challenges

🌱 Together, we can move from fear to awareness—and from awareness to change.

✨ Because taking care of the planet also means taking care of ourselves.

🌍💭 Have you ever felt anxious thinking about climate change?

You’re not alone.

More and more people — especially young generations — are experiencing eco-anxiety: a deep sense of worry, fear, and uncertainty about the future of our planet.

From extreme weather events to environmental changes, what we see happening around us can deeply affect our emotional well-being.

💚 Talking about it is the first step.
Understanding it is the second.

Because taking care of the planet also means taking care of our mental health.

🌍💚 What is eco-anxiety? And how is climate change affecting children’s mental health?

An insightful article by UNICEF highlights a reality we can no longer ignore: climate change is not only an environmental crisis — it is also a psychological stressor, especially for children and young people.

🔥 Floods, wildfires, rising temperatures and disappearing ecosystems are not distant headlines.
They are shaping how young generations see their future.

According to UNICEF:

• Nearly 60% of young people are extremely worried about climate change
• 75% believe the future is frightening
• 45% say these feelings negatively impact their daily lives

Eco-anxiety is not a weakness.
It is a sign that children and young people care deeply about the planet. 🌱

But without the right support, these emotions — fear, grief, anger, helplessness — can become overwhelming.

That’s why initiatives like W.A.R.M. – Promoting Wellness and Resilience in Eco-Anxiety exist.
We believe in building emotional resilience, community connection and radical hope — the courage to face reality while still choosing to act for change.

💬 Let’s listen to young voices.
💛 Let’s validate their feelings.
🌍 Let’s build resilience together.

🎉 Welcoming a New Year of Care, Awareness & Resilience ✨

As we step into a new year, W.A.R.M Project continues its journey to promote mental well-being and professional resilience in a changing climate 🌱🧠

WARM is more than a platform — it is a shared digital space for learning, collaboration, and growth, where mental health professionals, educators, and communities across Europe come together to address eco-anxiety, climate distress, and environmental emotions 🌍💬

In the year ahead, we look forward to:
✨ Strengthening climate-aware mental health practices
✨ Supporting continuous professional development
✨ Encouraging resilience, reflection, and connection
✨ Building a more informed and compassionate European community

💡 Together, we turn knowledge into action and challenges into opportunities for growth.

🌟 Wishing all our partners, professionals, learners, and stakeholders a year of learning, resilience, and meaningful impact.
Let’s keep growing — together. 🤝🌿
