Anche in questa edizione del Polifonico si è svolto con grande partecipazione e interesse lo 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫, il percorso formativo immersivo e gratuito che ogni anno accompagna le giornate del festival corale ad Arezzo.

Guidato da 𝐃𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐧 e 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐚, lo Study Tour ha coinvolto direttori di coro, coristi, studenti e appassionati, offrendo loro l’opportunità di vivere il Polifonico da vicino, seguendo prove e concerti, approfondendo repertori e realtà corali provenienti da tutto il mondo e confrontandosi direttamente con i protagonisti del festival.

A completare il percorso, un momento di incontro e dialogo con la 𝐠𝐢𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐞, per trasformare l’esperienza del concorso in un’occasione concreta di formazione, confronto e condivisione.

🇬🇧 𝟕𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐝’𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 | 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫

Once again this year, the 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 was met with great participation and interest: an immersive and free educational programme that accompanies the days of the choral festival in Arezzo every year.

Led by 𝐃𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐧 and 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐚, the Study Tour involved choral conductors, singers, students and enthusiasts, offering them the opportunity to experience the Polifonico up close by attending rehearsals and concerts, exploring repertoires and choral traditions from around the world, and engaging directly with the protagonists of the festival.

The programme concluded with a moment of dialogue and exchange with the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐲, turning the competition experience into a concrete opportunity for learning, discussion and shared growth.

🇮🇹 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞 | 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨

Il Polifonico prosegue le sue attività corali e, nella suggestiva cornice della 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨, regala alla città un ultimo momento di musica e condivisione.

Questa mattina si è celebrata la Santa Messa Capitolare delle ore 10.30, presieduta da 𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐢, cerimoniere della Cattedrale.

L’accompagnamento musicale è stato affidato al 𝐌° 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢, organista titolare della Cattedrale, all’organo monumentale del Duomo costruito da 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐚 nel 1536, e al 𝐌° 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐚 alla voce.

Nel corso della celebrazione è stata eseguita la 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐗𝐈 “𝐎𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫”, secondo l’antica pratica dell’𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦.

The Polifonico continues its choral activities and, in the evocative setting of 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐥, offers the city one final moment of music and shared experience.

This morning, the 10:30 a.m. Chapter Mass was celebrated by 𝐅𝐫. 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐢, Master of Ceremonies of the Cathedral.

The musical accompaniment was entrusted to 𝐌° 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢, titular organist of the Cathedral, performing on the monumental organ built by 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐝𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐚 in 1536, together with 𝐌° 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐚 on vocals.

During the celebration, the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐗𝐈 “𝐎𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫” was performed according to the ancient practice of 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐦.

Alla presenza di 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢, Assessore rapporti istituzionali Università, famiglia e Scuola comune di Arezzo, del direttore artistico 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐠𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐨𝐥𝐚, del direttore generale della Fondazione 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢 e dell’immancabile 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐢 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐆𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐨, il 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫 (Indonesia), diretto da 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, è stato proclamato vincitore del 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐭à 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨, conquistando così l’accesso di diritto al Gran Premio Europeo di Canto Corale 2027.

On the stage of the 𝐂𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐍𝐨𝐱, 𝐆𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨 𝐕𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 and 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫 faced the final stage of the 74th Guido d’Arezzo International Polyphonic Competition.

Three ensembles, three different artistic journeys, brought together for the final performance before the announcement of the winner of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐭à 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞.

Con la proclamazione dei vincitori si conclude la 74ª edizione del Concorso Polifonico Internazionale Guido d’Arezzo.

Un applauso a tutti i cori, ai direttori e alle direttrici che hanno preso parte alla competizione, portando ad Arezzo repertori, culture e tradizioni da tutto il mondo.

Un riconoscimento speciale al 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐦 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐫, diretto da 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐨 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐆𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, vincitore del 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐭à 𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐨 e ammesso di diritto al 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐨 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐨 𝐝𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, che si terrà ad Arezzo.

Congratulations to all the choirs and conductors who took part in the competition, bringing repertoires, cultures and traditions from around the world to Arezzo.
