Last night, we had the honor of opening this exhibition dedicated to the personal belongings and testimonies of children who survived war.

Thank you to everyone who attended the opening and shared this important moment with us. The exhibition is now open to visitors until the end of this week.

Through intimate stories and multimedia content, the exhibition opens a dialogue on the protection of children, a topic that remains critically important today, as millions of children around the world continue to grow up in situations of conflict and insecurity. And as well as on the responsibility of society and the role of memory in building peace.

This exhibition holds special significance for us because two of our Rondine d’Oro, Amina Šurković and Viktorija Ćosić, contributed to its realization. Their dedication, commitment, and work were of great importance in bringing this exhibition to life.

This Earth Day, we’re sharing an article written by Phil Eke-okocha.7

Drawing from personal experience and his work at the intersection of climate change and conflict, Phil reminds us of something we often overlook — these crises are not separate, but deeply interconnected.

This is not just a story about the environment. It’s about people, responsibility, and the future we are shaping together.

Because caring for the Earth also means caring for one another.

“When I think about International Women’s Day, I do not think first of slogans. I think of faces, voices, shared rooms, long dinners, and women who entered my life from different parts of the world and, without even knowing it, helped shape the woman I became.

I think of Sharizan, Maurine, Gala, Zulfiyya, Adi, Nadežda, Rasha, Amina, Yanine, Valentina, Laura. I think of Adriana, Romana, Cosette, Sara, Radima, Arina, and of so many other women whose names may not all fit into one post, but whose presence remains deeply written into my memory.”

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we introduce you to the words of Vesna Buljan. Through a poem and a reflective article, she shares a personal perspective on this date. And not only as a symbolic moment of remembrance, but also as an opportunity to pause, reflect, and look beyond.
