In the heart of Rovaniemi, students from the University of Lapland explored the beauty of sustainable teamwork through traditional crafts as part of the TB-GOBRA project - Team Building for Green, organisational behaviour in rural areas.
This short documentary captures moments from the pilot sessions led within the university’s studies in Tourism Research and Experience Design (2024).
Through activities like felting, Himmeli crafting, and natural material art, participants learned how eco-friendly craft practices can bring people together, promote environmental awareness, and build collaboration across disciplines.
The video was created by Maria Brunni, Eeri Helama, and Jane Vakkila, students of the University of Lapland, under the guidance of the TB-GOBRA project team.
The reflections shared by participants highlight how sustainable crafts can serve as tools for team building, creativity, and environmental consciousness. Their voices remind us that learning through making is not only hands-on, it’s also heart-driven.
