RiverWatch Project - Iraq The RiverWatch program is one of the main programs of the Waterkeepers Iraq funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.

It aims to increase awareness about water quality and water related issues. The RiverWatch program is one of the newest projects of Nature Iraq that are funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. It's one of the main and most important projects of the Waterkeepers Iraq. By organizing Bi-Weekly and Monthly trips to specific sites; we try to raise the awareness about the river-related issues and t

he importance of keeping the river clean. We'll be also collecting samples and analyse them, do a threat assessment and develop a score card that shows the condition of the river at the end of each year.
