ندين ونرفض بأشد العبارات أي قانون يجيز إعدام الأسرى الفلسطينيين، لما يمثّله من انتهاك جسيم وصارخ لمبادئ حقوق الإنسان والقانون الدولي، وتهديدًا خطيرًا لقيم العدالة والكرامة الإنسانية. إن مثل هذه الإجراءات لا تسهم في تحقيق الأمن أو الاستقرار، بل تؤدي إلى تصعيد التوتر وتعميق المعاناة.
وإذ نؤكد على ضرورة احترام المعايير الدولية التي تكفل حقوق الأسرى وتضمن معاملتهم الإنسانية، فإننا ندعو المجتمع الدولي، ومنظمات حقوق الإنسان، والأمم المتحدة إلى تحمّل مسؤولياتهم القانونية والأخلاقية، واتخاذ خطوات عاجلة وحازمة لوقف هذه السياسات، والعمل على حماية حقوق الأسرى وضمان محاكمات عادلة، بما يصون كرامتهم ويعزز مبادئ العدالة والإنسانية.
We strongly condemn and unequivocally reject any law allowing the ex*****on of Palestinian prisoners, as it represents a severe and blatant violation of human rights and international law, and a serious threat to justice and human dignity. Such measures do not contribute to security or peace, but rather escalate tensions and deepen suffering.
We emphasize the urgent need to respect international standards that protect prisoners’ rights and ensure humane treatment. We call upon the international community, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to take immediate and decisive action to halt these policies, protect the rights of prisoners, and guarantee fair trials that uphold their dignity and justice.
